Questions & Answers
Is the 10” VPSUB Subwoofer similar to the IS8 invisible speakers? Invisible wall mount? Do I need to (or do you recommend) installing a back cover for the VPSUB installed in a wall with an adjoining room? What is the part number for the cover?
Answered by Sonance TeamHi, Thank you for your question. The VPSUB already includes an integrated back box, so there is no separate accessory available. For an installation in a wall adjoining another room, the integrated enclosure will help contain some of the sound, but not all of it. Adding insulation or other sound-isolation materials within the wall may help reduce that transfer. I hope you found this information helpful. Does this require an in wall enclosure or other sort of bracket or mount?
Answered by Sonance TeamHi, Thank you for your question. This subwoofer does not need a separate enclosure or brackets/mount for installation. Keep in mind this is a passive subwoofer and it will need an amplifier to power it. I would recommend using our Sonamp DSP 2-150 (Best Buy SKU #: 6302322.) I hope you found this information helpful. If you have other questions, please call our California-based support team at 949-492-7777 and ask for Tech support. We will be happy to help you out. - Sonance Customer Support Team
