The world needed a hero, we got a hedgehog. Superpowered with speed and packed with attitude, Sonic (Ben Schwartz) and his friends team up in this epic 2-movie adventure to save the world and stop evil genius Dr. Robotnik's (Jim Carrey) plan for world domination. In their first adventure, Sonic and his new best friend Tom (James Marsden) team up to defend the planet and Sonic's one-of-a-kind superpower. The second adventure has Sonic eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. With the help of his new sidekick Tails (Colleen O'Shaughnessey), Sonic goes on a globe-trotting mission to defeat Dr. Robotnik once again, but this time Dr. Robotnik's partnered with a new Echidna who packs a punch, Knuckles (Idris Elba).
