Bought a pair on release - only to be hit with the god awful app experience, and lack of promised features. Returned them. Revisiting them a year later to see if they're any better after the massive update last month - They're just as awful as they were before! hardware wise, they're amazing. ANC is fabulous, sound quality is good, if lacking on the low end, fit and finish and feel all superb. The software though. oh the software. as much of a hot steaming pile of trash now as it was on day 1. Pairing them was like reading tea leaves, press until the blue Bluetooth light flashes? it does not flash! just have to wait for it to be found by the phone (used both an iPhone and Android for this) because the app constantly kept saying "not found" then updating them. had to repeat this a dozen times as they kept dropping out, and rebooting, and Sonos app won't let you adjust them until they're updated. or connect to them unless it's updated. so finally an hour later of constantly trying to update them, I can use them. As for integration with my existing Sonos system? horrific. Audio Swap? won't work my system is not up to date per the app (it is up to date). Not with my Arc, nor more critically my Amp. Something Sonos refuses to add support for because it's "too old" despite still selling the same unit to this day with no updates. all in all, I'll be returning these yet again as even for 300$ they are an awful proposition for the cost compares to Sony or Bose's offerings, I certainly have not bought any Sonos hardware since my first purchase of these, and i certainly won't be buying anything else with their horrific management and handling of this product.

This is a mind-bogglingly bad product. The intergration with other Sonos products is subpar and it isn’t even able to play Sonos Radio without first streaming to a soundbar. I recently took them on a plane and discovered the noise cancellation is seemingly equal a pair of AirPods 4 generation. Additionally, the volume won’t adjust high enough on an iPad unless the EQ is set to Late Night. I anticipated these being superior to AirPods Max, but unfortunately, they don’t even compare. It’s really unfortunate because they are much more comfortable to wear for extended periods.

They seemed great at first. The sound is muffled, specifically vocals, but I kind of liked it. The design and comfort is amazing. They broke after 3 days though. A buzzing in the right ear cup. A huge problem from what I saw online. Apparently Sonos can’t make a reliable device that you would expect at this price point. Im going to return them. I cant risk $450 headphones going bad.

Lots of connection issues. Love Sonos (I have 6 products in my home and will purchase more. However, I’m having major connectivity issues, and it seems like it’s getting progressively worse. The unit after being plugged in to a verified working charger will not power on, then after hours will randomly turn on. I’m going to return and exchange in hopes that I just got a bad unit

Bought them and took them back 2 hours later . If you like the features then great , like the tv to headphones was cool , and for movies it was alright but for Music . It was a joke. like 0 bass and all highs.

Worked great for 1 year and 4 months of occasional use in the office. Wont charge, wont default, no lights even trying a known good charger and 3 separate known good cords.

I have quite a few of the Sonos products whether it’s for outdoors my living room, so I assume that headphones are gonna be as equal quality. If not even better, but totally a let down. I do not recommend based off of their other equipment.

After all the suspense of Sonos releasing these I was very disappointed. You can’t justified spending this much on these headphones. Returned after one week.

When I used them I didn't like the sound, but acceptable. but the reason for returning it was that when there is no music on the right side you can hear something and it bothers me

They don’t fit my head and less than 90 days after buying them returning is not an option. For $450 dollars one expects the item to perform. Not the case with these. It’s a shame.

Underwhelming is the best way to sum these up. Ive tried Bose, Apple, Sony, etc... these are the worst ones I've ever listened to.

It’s really disappointing to hear that the Sonos Ace fell short of your expectations, especially when compared to other brands like Bose, Apple, and Sony. When a product doesn’t deliver the quality you’re accustomed to, it can be a huge letdown.
If you haven’t already, you might want to explore some adjustments in the settings to see if the sound quality can be improved. Sometimes, a few tweaks can make a noticeable difference. However, if you’re still not satisfied, I’d recommend reaching out to our customer support at support.sonos.com to discuss your experience. They might be able to offer some solutions to get you the best sound possible. I hope this helps!
