I like the High Quality vivid color it gives , I like how easy it is to use and how well beef’ed up it’s manufactured. The only downside is you have to have a solid good Internet connection or it will lag and freeze up a lot .

After my Samsung gave out in under two years, I decided to switch things up and go with the Sony Bravia 3—and honestly, I’m SO glad I did! Right out of the box, the setup was quick and painless. The picture quality is noticeably better- I especially see a major difference when watching sports! The motion is smooth, the colors are more natural, and everything just looks crisp, especially in 4K.

I wanted to replace a twelve-year-old Samsung 40" Smart UHD TV with something that has newer screen technology and smart features. I have not been disappointed with my new SONY. The screen is bright; colors are rich and vibrant. The home screen gives access to all the streaming apps and other smart features. Included with the purchase is the SONY Pictures Core app, with 5 free and many other included movies. This TV doesn't have a NextGen tuner (ATSC 3.0) built in, so I am using an outboard tuner/DVR for those signals. Watching "The Americas" in full HD and HDR (High Definition and High Dynamic Range) is an excellent demonstration of the picture quality. The TV sound is good and has a range of adjustment options but not comparable to listening with a soundbar or multichannel audio system. For most, this TV will be an excellent choice for a small living room or family room, with seating under 15 feet from the screen. I am really happy with this purchase which was an open box item and marked down substantially from the retail price.

I replaced my 13 year old Sony 43” TV with the Bravia 3 because I “cut the cable” and wanted a Smart TV. This TV has excellent color and sharpness and as an added plus, Google TV is included. The setup was so easy as the step by step instructions are clear and concise. If by some chance you make an error in the setup, Google TV makes easy to get back on track. I have the TV connected to a Samsung sound bar and the Google TV made connecting that device easy as well. All in all, I am very pleased with my Bravia 3 and any extra cost incurred over lessor brands is well worth the expense.

Amazing upgrade and despite getting open box, the TV is in pristine condition. Amazing deal. Picture quality is awesome, has settings specific to ps5 gaming, etc. Never felt more impressed by an upgrade and makes a huge quality of life difference. TV quality was such a difference that it became my cat’s favorite new toy as well. She certainly thought all the things on the TV were right in front of her.

Took a while to get used to the menu and settings and still trying to figure out how to easily change the OTA channels. A number pad would help. Sound Bar and Internet were very easy to setup. I prefer a TV with natural color and don't want to spend a lot of time making adjustments trying to get it just right. After reading many reviews for a 43 inch TV, the Bravia 3 had several comments about out of the box color being very good. Not only is the color amazingly good, the picture quality is superb. Fast action is smooth. All images and videos are lifelike and have incredible detail. I left it on Standard Mode and Cool temperature. I am very happy with this purchase. It was an open box, but it was just like brand new. GaryP

I’ve really enjoyed the x90L that I bought last year, so decided to give this one a chance as a secondary, bedroom tv. Was a little concerned with low contrast ratings in reviews, but don’t see much difference from the x90L. Nothing that bothers me anyway. Blacks seem nice and dark. Maybe they lack detail in comparison? At any rate, most impressive is that it has similarly wonderful color as the x90L to my eyes. Put picture mode to professional, contrast to 90, gamma to 0 or higher, other settings tweak to taste, and the image is fantastic. After a couple of days, had to unplug for a minute as tv was unresponsive. Hopefully not a sign of things to come, but had to do a couple of resets for the x90L early and haven’t had issues with it since. Volume is a little laggy and skips levels, but ok. Menu navigation more laggy than x90L, but good enough that I’ll be fine if not adding a streaming box. Didn’t give the sound much of a chance before hooking up an ht-s2000 bar. Tv/sound bar hook up sync up very well.

Excellent TV. Poor Best Buy customer service. The tv is everything you’d expect from Sony. Best Buy would not honor the price match one day out. $50 is a relatively substantial amount. Not the same Best Buy as they were. btw 15 days seems to be an inefficient amount of time for a price match

Very nice tv! Good color and clarity. Sound needs to be tweaked a bit by setting adjustments. Too much bass, needs more treble. We mounted it on the wall in our bedroom. Happy with our purchase!

I do not know if my item was defective or if the whole line has this issue, but I will need to return this television, as much as I tread the chores of initiating a return and setting up a new TV. Hulu has never worked on this television since I first set it up over a week ago. I took every troubleshooting step possible on my own, and then spent over an hour on the phone with a Hulu agent working with engineers to help troubleshoot why Hulu would not run on my device. They have not been able to resolve it yet and have issued me credits for a free month of Hulu as an apology for the issues that I am having accessing Hulu, which was a nice experience, but shows that my issue accessing Hulu is not "user error" considering that their own engineers have not been able to resolve this yet on the back-end. Secondly, today, Bravia stopped showing me any streaming content whatsoever from any app. I can still hear the audio and see CC playing despite no picture, but then the audio too stops after a minute or so. This happened on both Netflix and Disney+. On Disney+, I kept the screen on for awhile to see if any changes would happen, and eventually it gave me a spinning wheel and displayed a message telling me to contact customer support. I assume the same would happen if I let it continue to stay open on Netflix or other apps as well. It will, however, let me see the apps themselves and the contents in the app - like I can see which shows I have watched, search for shows, etc., I just cannot watch any. And the "screensaver" of my Google Photos still works. Third, I again tried another workaround today: extending and/or mirroring my fairly new MacBook Pro to display on this Bravia TV. It had worked once when I tried it in the past, but today, it will not show anything on the screen whatsoever, be it in extending or mirror mode. Oddly, the only time my Macbook screen will show is when I turn the television off, in which case, it shows me a brief flicker of my desktop, and then shuts off. I have done nothing different to this television since my first day of trying to troubleshoot Hulu (during which time, I updated the software, amongst other attempts to troubleshoot), so there is no reason why my television should be acting any differently today, save for the fact that there is either a software or a hardware issue occurring with this television - not user error. I do not know if everyone who has bought this has had this or similar experiences, or if I was unlucky and received a defective item, but regardless, I will now need to find time to initiate a return and find a new television to buy, which is quite difficult as a mom of two toddlers who is pregnant with our third child and who also has to work. I added two pictures as an example of how the audio will play briefly with closed captioning appearing, despite the screen remaining black and not displaying any picture. Later, it stops, has a spinning wheel, and then tells me to contact customer support. I hope there will be a relatively smooth return process for this and smooth setup process for the next television. It would be nice if BestBuy could extend a complimentary installation service for the next purchase considering the difficulties with this one and the time it has already taken from both my husband and me.

We sincerely apologize for the stress and frustration this has caused, especially given your family's current situation. This is certainly not the quality we strive for. Since you can hear audio but have no picture, it may be a software hang rather than a permanent hardware failure.
Before you tackle the chore of a return, please try a Forced Factory Reset: Unplug the TV from the wall. While it is unplugged, press and hold the Power button located on the TV unit itself. Keep holding that button and plug the TV back in. Continue holding until you see a white LED light on the front (this can take up to 30 seconds), then release.
If this does not restore the picture, please contact our priority support line at 1-800-222-7669 so we can look into a direct warranty solution for you. We want to make this as easy as possible for you.

Picture quality is excellent. Home Screen is easy to navigate, and we have yet to have any issues with finding and using our favorite streaming apps. It also works great for playing Nintendo Switch. Thus far, we are very pleased with our purchase!
