Q: When will the Sony 77 A95L be available to preorder and purchase?
A: Ordered and received the 65 inch version yesterday(DC area). Orders were going through for a short while before the status changed to “coming soon”. TV set to release in the US in the 2nd week. Not sure if some of our orders went through as a result of a system glitch. Not complaining lol :-) New firmware update was available immediately upon setup. Experience moving from a 2021 Sony OLED: mind blown with the quality of the picture when watching movies. Regular TV watching in standard mode: not likely to notice anything different.

Excellent TV, Made my Christmas!
I love this TV! I did research and watched many reviews of this and the competition and was not disappointed with my purchase! Pros- games look amazing on it, It can get extremely bright and has excellent HDR. Since the software update, Dolby Vision looks great when using the Dolby Vivid option, has a find my remote feature (which I've used more than once), excellent features for fine-tuning the image the way you want and I appreciate the game features when using my Xbox Series X or my PS5. The processing does wonders with SDR content clearing it up and making it brighter. Cons- It is SUPER heavy so make sure that if you don't have it installed or mounted on the wall (like I chose) make sure that you have at least 1 other person to help you with it, The sound is great for a TV but if you're spending this much, get a Soundbar with satellite speakers and support Dolby Atmos trust me. Plus the TV can be used for a center channel with the correct soundbar! Only has 2 2.1 HDMI ports and one of them is the earc/arc connection. If you have multiple consoles that want to take advantage of the 120 hz refresh, get a GOOD 2.1 high bandwidth HDMI splitter so you can take advantage. It has to be a good one and make sure that splitter is 4 inputs and 1 output not the other way around.

Masterpiece
If you want a truly exceptional TV experience then take the plunge and upgrade to the Sony 77A95L and you won’t be disappointed. I’ve upgraded from a Sony 75X900F and I can honestly say I have absolutely no regrets. Picture quality,brightness,processing and overall performance is top notch. Ease of use from the OS is achieved with patience, practice and just getting used to where various information is located in the TV. It is detailed and available if you read up and get to know the layout. Using internet forums such AVS forum helps tremendously and is very informative. While this TV is great there are still some issues that should and need to be addressed by Sony hopefully with software updates such audio sync issues and Dolby Vision tweaks. I’m very optimistic that in short time Sony will step up and rectify these issues to their Flagship Masterpiece Series QD-OLED Winner. Supply has been scarce but with perseverance you to will be glad you made the decision.
