If you are planning to capture some 4k 60fps shorts or doing sports and natural photography it works great in both cases. Easy to travel with and also has the AI chip for different subjects which makes it great to handle everything.

I love this camera. The main thing is that it doesn’t overheat while shooting in 4k 120fps. Amazing images.

After using this camera it works perfect. I have only used it on a few shoots and have not scratched what it can do, but I hope to get it fine tuned for my shooting style shortly.

Choose this camera over the Sony fX3. Not because of the price point but because of all the new features it carries. It has built in Ai for auto focusing which is a game changer. Makes the fX3 outdated. Overall very great camera for hybrid shooters. Worth the upgrade from Sony A74.

I have owned the r series since the 2 and have been getting more and more into video. I decided to move to this camera from the a7rv and have no regrets. The move from 61 to 33MP is barely noticeable in real world application however the added low light performance is incredible.

I love this camera. At the time I first used it, my lens was still in transit. So I used the ASPC Kit lens from the ZVE10. Even with that lens, I was able to really see and feel the difference in the response time, and functionality in low light scenarios; like in the ET ride queue. I look forward to seeing the results it provides at HHN with a proper full frame lens.

After purchasing the Sony Alpha 7 V, within the first 2 days I noticed a small dot inside the EVF. I went to Best Buy, but they advised me to contact Sony support. Sony support asked me to send the camera for inspection. They identified an issue inside the EVF and replaced the EVF assembly and related parts under warranty. The repair process took about 2.5 weeks. While the issue has been resolved and the camera is now working properly, it was disappointing to experience a defect so soon after purchase, along with the downtime during repair.
