Sony Alpha 7C II – Full-frame Interchangeable Lens Camera with 33.0 MP sensor, 4K video, AI based subject recognition, Log shooting, LUT handling and vlog functions.
Compact and lightweight, the α7C II is the full-frame camera that creators have been waiting for. Packed with cutting-edge technology for both stills and movies, it’s the essential tool for capturing the world the way you want.
Delivering outstanding performance and image quality for stills and movies, the α7C II's new 33.0 MP Exmor R CMOS image sensor provides high-speed readout, high sensitivity from ISO 100 to ISO 512002, low noise, and highly accurate color reproduction.
The BIONZ XR engine delivers up to 8x more processing power than its predecessor, minimizing latency while boosting image processing, achieving natural gradations, realistic color, low noise, superior image quality and fast menu response.
The α7C II is equipped with an AI processing unit that can handle significant amounts of data, enabling more accurate recognition and tracking of subjects and recognition of a wider range of subject types.
The α7C II captures 4K 60p/50p movies with full pixel readout and no pixel binning, with wide dynamic and exceptionally smooth images of fast-moving subjects. Full-frame 4K with 7K oversampling delivers 4K with enhanced clarity and detail.
Enjoy stable handheld shooting thanks to the α7C II’s high-precision image stabilization unit, advanced gyro sensors, and optimized image stabilization algorithms that effectively correct 7.0-steps of camera shake.
Active Mode provides enhanced image stabilization for handheld movie shooting. A precision image stabilization unit, advanced gyro sensors, and an optimized stabilization algorithm work together for exceedingly smooth, stable footage.
The α7C II's mechanical and electronic shutters allow continuous shooting at up to 10 fps, or up to 8 fps in live view mode, making it easier to capture the most photogenic moments and expressions with moving subjects.
Lossless RAW compression provides smaller file sizes with no loss in image quality, enabling up to 27 frames in continuous bursts. Three image sizes suit any application, and a Light image quality option is provided for JPEG and HEIF images.
S-Log3 optimizes gradation, achieving 14+ stops of latitude. S-Gamut3 and S-Gamut3.Cine color gamut settings are also provided. You can apply a custom LUT with a Log gamma curve to monito or record footage with LUT already applied.
Using AI-based subject recognition, Auto Framing automatically optimizes framing for movies. Framing is continually adjusted so that recorded footage appears as if the subject was being followed by a camera operator.
With its AI processing unit, the α7C II enables human pose estimation by using a skeleton-based model, enabling it to accurately recognize not just eyes, but also body and head positions with high precision.
Connected to a PC or smartphone via USB, the α7C II can function as a 4K (2160p) webcam. Shallow depth of field and bokeh create beautiful imagery for meetings and live streaming. You can even record your livestream in the camera.
