I purchased these headphones approximately three weeks ago, and for the ~$15 I spent, they're not bad sounding. However, with a mild amount of usage (two to three uses a day, about 45 minutes each time) they already seem to have a bad cable. If the cable gets pulled lightly in a certain direction, which is inevitable while walking in NYC, they trigger the phone to either pause or change volume, occasionally maxing out the volume in about a quarter of a second. For the sound quality, I would pay the $15 (but no more than that) but due to the fact that they already have issues that begun two weeks into owning them, I would rather have put the money toward a different pair.

I have bought this item many times in the past and it feels as though the durability has plumeted emensely over the past 4 years and although the sound quality is awesome it doesnt last. I treat my earbuds with so much care Cheap earbuds that cost much less than this one sound almost as good but last so much longer. I would give them one more try but if they break down like this that lasted about 2 months more or less then i am moving to a better alternative

Sony used to have products I felt I could rely on, but their earbuds have been a disappointment. Although I prefer mic/earbuds with the plug-in jack that lies flush against the phone - which is a charachteristic of this product - these earbuds have to be replaced almost monthly. The sound quality is good, but I got tired of replacing them and went back to Skull Candy whose product is better and lasts longer.

I use these daily, to listen to music and when on phone calls, I fold then neatly and put them in my pants pocket everyday. After 6months, the right head phone went out and will no longer work. I have no exposed wires and nothing is loose, so I'm not sure what happened. My 90day warranty is no longer valid, but at least the left head phone and microphone still works I guess....

Its probably my fault since i workout with my iPod in my pocket but i still think a couple months of use is a short time for the sound to cut in and out whenever the cord moves. When the sound didn't cut out and now whenever it doesn't they are pretty nice sounding, especially for 10 bucks

Constantly falling out when I run, for me that's a deal breaker. I need to have heaphones that stay in while I'm active. I tried all the extra ear pads but I still can't keep them in. The price is right and they'd be perfect for casual wearing but not for running.

Ear buds were okay but not for a smart phone seems the are only good for an MP3 player of disc man. Also can't increase the volume as it is preset to the earbuds.

The package says compatible with my iPhone 6 but the inline control only pauses music or lets in a phone call. There is no volume control so they're going back.

I bought and yes them a few times. Good sound. Treated well. However, they are already broken. I would recommend that you look at other products.

The sound quality is sufficient but the construction of this set of headphones is really pathetic. If you want good buds for low cost, get Panasonic.

Purchased the earphones as a quick replacement for my regular ones which I left at home right before a trip. They worked well and provided decent sound, however they didn't last long. Through average wear and tear, only worked for a couple of months before there was a connection issue with tje right side.

The only good thing about these is the (somewhat) decent sound quality. Other than that, there isn't much going for it. First, the headphones themselves are very cheap quality. The cord is thin and kinks and tangles easily. I give the physical quality a 2/5. Second, the sound quality. The sound quality is decent for small earbuds that cost $7. Based on the price, I give the sound a 3/5. Finally, in-line control/device interactions. This is what ruined the headphones for me. The in line control was terrible. I have an iPad Air 2, and whenever I would use these earbuds, the 3.5 mm jack had to be in the exact right spot or else Siri would keep activating. Any time the plug moved, Siri would activate. It was incredibly annoying. The worst part was that this started right out of the box. I give this a 0/5. If you see this review, don't bother with this product. Spend some more money and get a better pair of earbuds. Spending $15-$20 will get you a product of much higher quality. Thanks for reading, J.I.

I needed ear buds with a microphone and wasn't sure witch ones to go with so I bought the sony and skull candy ear buds. Both where priced under $20. The Sony ear buds would automatically activate Siri on my phone and didn't have good bass so I returned them.
