The Sony INZONE H9 II started out as an amazing headset—great sound, super comfortable, and genuinely impressive noise cancellation. For the first few months, I was really happy with them and felt like Sony had nailed the balance between gaming performance and everyday use. But after about a year, things changed. They started breaking down even though I wasn’t using them heavily. The build quality just didn’t hold up, and the issues showed up way sooner than I’d expect from a premium Sony product. It’s disappointing because Sony used to be known for long‑lasting, reliable headphones, but lately the quality feels like it’s gone downhill. Overall, they were great at the beginning, but the durability just isn’t there anymore.

Hi George,
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback regarding your experience with the INZONE H9 II. We genuinely appreciate hearing from our long-time users, especially those who appreciate the sound quality and noise cancellation we aim to deliver.
We are truly sorry to hear that the headset's durability did not hold up over the past year. This is certainly not the standard of quality or longevity we strive for with our premium products. Please know that your feedback is highly valued. We take notes on product quality very seriously, and we will definitely share your comments with our development teams for careful review and future product improvement.
Thank you again for your honesty and for considering Sony!

Very expensive headset that would be a much better value at 250 dollars. Great mic. Audio quality is a bit all over the place and I wouldn’t say it’s great. You can EQ these via software on PC but I couldn’t get them to a spot I liked. Due to my head shape as well these didn’t fit me comfortably but I would imagine most people would find these comfortable.

Thank you for sharing your detailed and honest feedback, Zavehi.
We are truly happy to hear that the great microphone on your INZONE H9 II is providing you with clear communication—that's essential for a smooth gaming experience.
We are, however, genuinely sorry that you were unable to achieve a sound profile you liked, even with the EQ software, and that you found the audio quality "all over the place." We appreciate this specific criticism and will share it with our development team, as we continually work to refine the sound experience across our gaming lineup.
We're especially sorry that the headset wasn't comfortable for you. We design our headsets, like the H9 II, with soft earcups and a snug fit for long gaming sessions, so it's always disappointing when they don't provide that comfort for every user. We truly hope that, even with the fit issues you experienced, your overall assessment that most people would find them comfortable helps other gamers.
We deeply value your detailed input, including your thoughts on the overall value. Thank you for taking the time to review the INZONE H9 II and choosing Sony.
Best regards,
Gus,

I did not like it was a little too flimsy, but it didn’t have great comfort
