I'm really irritated with this headset. They fit and sound okay, and the mic is an improvement from the H9, but they're not good enough for this price. How are you going to charge $350+ and you can't use them to control the game/chat volume on PS5, only PC? That's ridiculous to me. I had the previous H9, and you could change the game/chat volume with the dedicated buttons, but not with the new, more expensive H9 II version?? For the price, they should have the same capabilities as the previous version and more.

Hi Ilovetech,
We appreciate you sharing this detailed feedback on the INZONE H9 II, and we sincerely apologize for the irritation and frustration caused by the change in the game/chat balance functionality on the PS5. We understand that this is a core feature you relied on in the previous H9 model. While the dedicated buttons on the H9 II are designed for PC use with the INZONE Hub software, you can still adjust the Game/Chat volume balance directly within the PS5 Control Center. Simply press the PS button on your controller, select the Sound icon, and use the Audio Balance slider to fine-tune your game and chat audio mix. We value your honest comparison to the prior model, and your input on feature continuity at this price point is critical for our development teams.
Thanks for choosing Sony.
Best regards,
Eliab

The headphone is a Sony product, but it’s so stupid that doesn’t pair it up with your PlayStation five the chat mix does not work and the sound quality is not even better that the previous model

Thank you for sharing your feedback, RafaelR.
We are truly sorry to hear about your disappointment with the INZONE H9 II regarding its integration with the PlayStation 5. We understand your frustration, especially concerning the chat mix functionality and how it compares to the previous model.
The difference you're experiencing is due to a change in how this model interacts with the console. While previous versions featured native on-screen integration for chat mix, the H9 II is designed to have these adjustments managed through the PS5's built-in Quick Menu. Additionally, advanced audio settings are now customized via the Sony Sound Connect App and saved directly to the headset.
We acknowledge that the absence of the native UI integration is a significant change, and we are sharing your comments with our development team for future review. If you need further assistance with your setup, please contact our specialists here:

Audio quality is poor. It checks all boxes but doesn’t do anything in particular to warrant the price

We are sorry to hear the INZONE H9 II didn't meet your expectations for audio quality at its price point. Since these are designed specifically for gaming immersion, we recommend checking the INZONE Hub software on PC to customize the 10-band EQ and ensure 360 Spatial Sound is calibrated to your ear shape, as this can significantly improve the experience.
We appreciate your honest input as it helps us refine our gaming lineup. Thank you for choosing Sony!
