Record easily to a DVR or PC using this Sony ECMCS3 condenser microphone, which features an omnidirectional polar pattern and a rotating design for clear digital voice recording. The clip attachment enables hands-free use during business meetings and lectures.
Q: Whenever I plug it into my pic it's not show up
A: 1. This microphone is not compatible with Windows "Plug and Play." I don't think any microphone is detected by a PC when it is plugged into a microphone jack. 2. This particular microphone, being a condenser type, requires DC current that comes through the audio input wires. A PC does not supply that power. This microphone works very well with a digital recorder that supplies the required power. I use it with a Sony ICD-PX740 and the output quality is excellent. In conclusion, this microphone will not work with your PC.
Q: How do I plug this microphone into my pc. I need it for talking in Zoom.
A: The mini connector plug on the end of this is for inserting into a speaker connection. A pc should have a choice (usually on the back) where there is 3 circle connections in a row. One is for headphones or speakers. It may be green. There should be a microphone connection next to it. Should be pink. Depending on your PC there may be more connections. Attaching picture examples.
A: Yes absolutely it helps and also many options to place where your voice can be heard better.

A: no battery
