This battery is the original battery and worked very well with my camcorder. There is no difference in the usage time when compared with the original battery that came with the camcorder. Highly recommend this product for anyone thinking to buy a spare battery,

I purchased the 6 hours name brand Sony batteries cuz I was buying the knockoffs couple weeks ago when it was cold then knock-offs were lasting 15 minutes that isn't good enough. Had to leave the event. Just went to outer Banks North Carolina one six hour battery from Sony lasted all day

Well it is a bit bigger than my dad's other batteries he has, but it has more capacity and he can use his camcorder longer without having to recharge his battery. He actually was thinking of buying a replacement battery for the camera. He is hard person to shop for and will make a great gift.

My Old 3D Camera Works Again!

I recently dug my old Sony HDR-TD10 dual-lens 3D camcorder out of storage and found the battery was almost completely worn down. I was pretty surprised to find the battery was still in production, that Best Buy carried it, and the price was the same as the lower capacity version!

Always using Sony batteries with Sony products guarantees the best performance. I have a few of the batteries charged and ready for backup whenever I need. It’s terrible to run out of power when you need it most. Do yourself a favor and buy extra so you don’t find yourself in a similar situation.

This replacement battery was a great investment. Fully charged, I run out of space on my camera internal memory and memory card before I run out of battery power. During my trip I videoed every day, once filling up the memory card and having to switch to internal memory - the battery went the distance.

This is a perfect match to go along with our original battery that came with our FDR-AX33 video camera. I film a lot of sport games for both our sons and daughter. This extra battery comes in handy so I can keep filming. Lasts just as good as the original for hours of recording.
