Do not buy this. Initially I thought this was a really great speaker. The sound quality is good and it worked great for several months. Then suddenly, the Bluetooth started randomly dropping connection. The speaker is now unusable, it will randomly disconnect within ba few minutes to an hour after establishing a connection. Manually resetting the speaker or changing connection settings using the Sony App does nothing. The speaker is too unreliable to use for any period of time and I wish I would have bought something else.

Speaker is great. I asked for the colors they had available and the employee said they only had black. I actually didn't mind black so I bought it. Well I opened mine up and it was white! The employee didn't know that the picture on the box was generic and that there's a swatch of color showing the color of the speaker in the box. Knowing how bad Best Buy is at returning items that aren't used, I just kept it. However, I will not be returning to this store and will purchase everything online now because of lack of training and lack of effort from the employee to dig in more. I have 19+ years of retail experience with 1 company and expect better service at the point of purchase.

Complete dog poop. They constantly disconnect, and have to be paired with a cell phone over and over because they never stay paired. When connected to any output device via Bluetooth the connection drops randomly. Sound is pretty good. But they are totally dysfunctional otherwise.

I only have 2 months with the speaker, only used it couple of times and today when I tried to use it is not working, I turned on and turned off by itself, I tried charging it and it’s still not functioning, the buttons are not working

First, make sure that you device has enough battery charge. Connect the speaker to an AC outlet with a USB AC adaptor (commercially available) for battery charging. Next, check if the Auto Standby function is activated. Turn off the Auto Standby function. If your device still shuts off or the buttons won't respond, kindly initialize your device to resume its default settings. While the speaker is turned on, press and hold the – (volume) button and the(BLUETOOTH) button until the speaker turns off (5 seconds or more). Note : If the speaker is initialized, settings such as volume, etc., are restored to the default settings, and all pairing information is deleted. Here are a few things you can try:
1) Make sure you’re using the original charging cable that came with the speaker, if possible.
2) Plug the charger directly into a wall outlet (not a power strip or USB port on a computer), and let it charge for at least a couple of hours.
3) Check if the charging port is clean and free of dust or debris.
4) Reset the speaker. Press and hold the power button on the speaker for about 10 seconds to restart the unit.

This speaker does not have an automatic shut off so after period when you are not using it the unit stays powered on wasting battery life.

The SRS-ULT10 is equipped with an auto standby (power-saving) feature. However, when connected to an Android smartphone or an iPhone via an HFP (Hands-Free Profile) Bluetooth connection, this function is disabled. To activate the auto standby feature, please follow these steps:
1. Power on the speaker.
2. Simultaneously press and hold the (play)/(call) button and the – (volume) button for approximately 5 seconds.
When the auto standby function is disabled, the power indicator will flash three times in green. Conversely, when the function is enabled, the power indicator will flash twice in green.

I had to return this wireless speaker because it lost volume on several difference songs. There was no way to adjust to increase the sound even though I had it at maximum output.

Hi Khawk, we regret to hear that you had to return the unit because of the volume issue. We really wished we could turn your opinion around regarding our SRSULT10. Sometimes, the volume control might not work properly if there is an issue with the Bluetooth connection. It is recommended to turn off the Bluetooth setting on your source device and then turn it back on to re-establish the connection. Additionally, ensure that the Bluetooth indicator on the wireless speaker is lit.

I’m SUPER UPSET WITH THIS PURCHASE! I feel like Best Buy did a bait and switch ! I SWEAR THIS SPEAKER SOUNDED A LOT A LOT LOUDER ON DISPLAY. When I turned it on when I got home it sounded super super low! My phone alone sounds louder than this speaker ! Returning ASAP!
