I recently had the opportunity to try out the Sony SRS-XE200 Portable X-Series Bluetooth Speaker in black, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. This compact speaker delivers impressive sound quality and a host of convenient features that make it a great choice for music lovers on the go. First and foremost, the sound produced by this speaker is outstanding. Despite its small size, the SRS-XE200 delivers clear, rich audio with impressive bass response. The sound is well-balanced, and I was pleasantly surprised by the speaker's ability to fill a room with immersive sound. Whether I was listening to my favorite tracks or streaming a podcast, the audio quality was consistently excellent. The Bluetooth connectivity of the SRS-XE200 is seamless and hassle-free. Pairing my devices with the speaker was quick and easy, and I experienced no issues with dropouts or signal loss during usage. The speaker also has a decent wireless range, allowing me to move around without losing the connection. The portability of this speaker is a major highlight. It is lightweight and compact, making it ideal for taking on the go. I appreciated the built-in rechargeable battery, which provided several hours of playback time on a single charge. Additionally, the speaker's sleek design and black color give it a modern and stylish look that blends well with any decor. Another useful feature of the SRS-XE200 is the built-in microphone, which allows for hands-free calling. I found this particularly convenient when receiving calls while playing music. The speaker automatically switches to call mode, and the microphone picked up my voice clearly without any distortion. One minor drawback is the lack of water resistance, so it's important to keep the speaker away from water or moisture. Additionally, while the overall sound quality is excellent, audiophiles may desire slightly more nuanced audio performance. In conclusion, the Sony SRS-XE200 Portable X-Series Bluetooth Speaker is a top-notch device that delivers impressive sound quality, ease of use, and portability. Its sleek design and reliable Bluetooth connectivity make it a fantastic option for those who want to enjoy high-quality audio on the go. I highly recommend this speaker to anyone in search of a compact and reliable Bluetooth speaker. Rating: 4.5/5

Loud enough to hear it over a vacuum cleaner, oven vent, etc. I leave mine plugged in while using it, playing music between breaks. Lasts 7-8 hours otherwise at 90% volume. Strange there is no aux jack underneath the charging cover. The bass is almost too strong, while the high end is slightly muffled, like the sound is bouncing around a corner... Lag is very low, almost nonexistent, even playing through a bluetooth antenna to reach this thing. I'd rather see a minimum battery life claim advertised for these things. How long can it go at full volume playing metal and house music? Its a more useful figure for customers.

I bought this speaker 2 months ago and since then I’ve noticed a few things. This speaker destroys the lows anything hip hop based or alternative will rock these drivers. But when putting on lynyrd skynyrd I noticed that the guitar wouldn’t come through as much as the kicker on the drum. I found the simply going into the eq on the Sony app fixed this issue. The battery was my main worry as I have had jbl speakers in the past that die quicker then others , but the battery on the Sony XG 300 is the best I’ve had on a Bluetooth speaker so far. Good work Sony!

I consider myself an audio enthusiast, so when a NEW Sony speaker was available, I jumped at the opportunity. TL;DR for my frequent readers and details below. Good: Weight Design (won’t roll) Multi-positioning Multiple device pairing Battery life App tuning / ClearAudio+ Sound Bad: Slippery / smooth texture USB-A to USB-C cable doesn’t include wall adapter Meh: Another Sony App No Voice Commands Battery Percentage can be inaccurate (in conservation mode) Sony appears to be another manufacturer that is stripping color from their boxes and that’s not all that bad; simple packaging is good. Taking the speaker out, I felt the heft of it. A rubbery appearance with a cool cloth design jumped out at me with the rubbery section being very smooth. It’s a clean-looking, gray, barely badged speaker with a number of low-profile, small buttons. Single handed carrying of this speaker, if you’re not holding onto some of the fabric is slippery. Some kind of low-profile strap to slip your hand under would come in handy as I know I’ll be in a hurry, grab the slippery part & it’ll get dropped. I like to fully charge devices before starting up the configuration and that was quick out of the box, only 45 or so minutes. USB-C is adapted for this speaker, however it’s an A->C cable is included without a wall adapter and since most of my adapters are USB-C now, making me have to dig out an old Samsung charger. Right off the bat, another Sony App is needed: Sony Music Center. It’s a bummer that it isn’t shared with the wireless headphones/earbuds App. Spotify, YouTube Music and iHearRadio can be launched from the App, to stream music from that device. In the Settings section, you can configure a number of preferences including: Bass/Treble/Mids, a “Sony knows best” ClearAudio+ setting & some other effects that I find pretty useless. Good thing to note: Sound tuning survives the App closing on the device it was changed on. I found that during music play, ClearAudio+ did a decent job tuning to what the music was heavy with (bass, etc). TV streaming & sports, also a good job; I didn’t find myself needing to turn the mids / treble up. A new trend of charging up to 80% for battery conservation (like on my new laptops), is also included with the App for this speaker. Side note: if you’re charged to 100% and enable the battery conservation setting, it’ll say the speaker is only at 80%; disabling it shows the true value - for me, 100% after a full charge. I ran this speaker from the day I received it and for another 4 days of random use which only brought it down to 80%. Given that, I’m pretty happy with the battery life. Multiple devices can simultaneously connect to the speaker, which can be good and bad; streaming from a TV and getting a notification from your phone will ‘lower’ the volume to the stream until the notification finishes. With the design looking like a house when on its side, it’s not going to roll off a table and allows for different positioning to keep sound facing the way you want it to be. One thing that keeps this from being the ‘always by the pool’ speaker, is the lack of voice assistant integration; a “Hey Google” or “Alexa” would have made this my only speaker, but I’ll have to keep the other one in play. Speaking of the pool, it’s documented to be waterproof for up to 3 feet for some amount of time. The charging port has a water-proof looking door and secures tightly so I’m not concerned about water getting in there. Since I like this speaker so much and I don’t need to have it floating around in the water (does it float?), I didn’t want to put that to the test. So, after a fair amount of use I recommend this speaker.

The Sony SRS-XG300 is almost the perfect pool side summer portable speaker. Why perfect the for the pool? Because it's IP67 rated, so it would even survive an accidental drenching/fall in the pool. The sound quality is amazing, deep rich bass (thanks to Sony Mega Bass) and great sound reproduction. The XG300 didn't distort, even when I pumped it up to full volume. At mid-to-high volume the bass diaphragm also has a satisfying vibration - which is just cool. The LED lights are cool, you can control these with the Sony app or behind the waterproof cover over. Behind the battery cover you will find a button to turn the LEDs off (so you don't have to use the app), a USB C charging port, and a USB A port that can charge an external device. I tested this with my iPhone, and it happily charged by iPhone while still pumping out music. The whole XG300 unit charges via USB C and there's a brick adapter included (5V 3A). Battery is rate at 25 hours, I didn't test this for 25 hours straight, but I did get a full day and early evening use without any issues. Overall, love the look of the Sony XG300, the soft textured design especially the retractable carry handle (see photos). The weight at about 6.5lb is acceptable, with the handle, it feels a little like those ghetto blasters you see in 1980's movies. Which I love! The only loss of a star is because it has to always sit horizontally. I know Sony makes smaller versions of this series that can sit vertically, but you lose playback time and sound quality - but just wish there were smarts in the speaker so it knew you wanted to stand it up and dynamically adjusted. It's a small issue, when the rest of the XG300 is awesome, but worth knowing it has to be used horizontal only. Either way, still love it and it's going to make our summers more fun.

At first I was pretty confused by the design of this XE300 portable bluetooth speaker from Sony. I couldn't quite figure out why anyone would design a speaker with such a tall and narrow driver. Was this a "directional" speaker? Wouldn't that limit the amount of sound that is output by the speaker to a very limited range? As it turns out, Sony very deliberately designed this speaker with it's new line shape diffuser technology. This would explain why the design choice initially seemed odd. After curiosity got the best of me, I did a bit of research. Sony's design choice was inspired by professional grade audio systems that are used at serious concerts. This design is supposed to help with distributing the sound evenly and wider to fill the empty space around you. After using this in various indoor and outdoor settings, I can attest that it does a phenomenal job of filling any room, or the space around you. The sound feels better dispersed with a greater range of coverage as compared to other current outdoor speakers that I've owned. I'm a big fan of the sound signature on this speaker. The mids are very clear and crisp. Very impressed with the vocals for a bluetooth speaker (listened to a lot of Diana Krall and it sounded amazing!). Even at full volume, the sound signature retains it's sharpness with no distortion. The bass is tight and punchy. Initially, I thought the bass was a bit lacking for an outdoor speaker but as I began to listen to different genres of music, I noticed that it was more than capable of producing a deep and punchy low frequency without sounding muddled. I think it's a very well balanced sound signature. It's not the best sounding outdoor bluetooth speaker I've ever heard, but it is the best sounding outdoor speaker I've heard in it's pricing segment. Also, I realized I could increase the intensity of the bass to my liking via the Sony music center app. In terms of build quality, you can instantly tell it was designed to take a beating. I feel very confident knowing that it will survive multiple rough drops. Most the the body of the speaker is outfitted with a very soft and comfortable rubber lining. Sony made this an IP67 certified speaker. The moment you hold this in your hands, you can tell that it's fully waterproof, shockproof, and dustproof. Sony claims that it maintains it's operability when submerged upto a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes. I left this floating in our pool for about 15 minutes playing music with no issues. I really like the rubber charging cut-out for the USB type-C port. Very easy to access and it has an outstanding seal. No water is getting through there! There are quite a few features that I found to be incredibly useful while using this speaker. A lot of these features are usually not found in other outdoor bluetooth speakers. I've listed them below: - 70 minutes of music playtime with a quick 10 minute charge - 30 meter bluetooth range (My current outdoor bluetooth speakers do 15M!) - Battery Care function (stops charging the battery just before it reaches 100% in order to increase the life span of the battery) - Incredibly easy setup. Just by my bluetooth being on, my Android device instantly detected the XE300 without having to manually pair it - Bluetooth version 5.2; This allowed for an extremely good bluetooth connection. During my week of testing, not once did I experience any sort of audio interruptions or noise - Physical battery indicator button that audibly tells you how much battery you have left - Phenomenal Audio EQ app; The Sony Music Center mobile app instantly detects the speaker, the app is very stable, and the EQ function is tuned well - "Bluetooth Connection Quality" on Sony Music Center App. Allows you to prioritize the bluetooth connection for sound quality or for a more stable connection if you're in a noisy 2.4Ghz frequency environment Overall, I think this is one of the best bluetooth outdoor speakers on the market in it's pricing segment. There are really only two minor cons I have. First, due to the somewhat large hexagonal shape of the speaker, it's a bit difficult to hold with one hand (for reference, I have medium to large hands). This is also compounded by the fact that it's a relatively heavy speaker. I would have loved to see Sony affix some type of unobtrusive waterproof handle on the back of the speaker where you can just slip your hand into. There's plenty of space on the back of the speaker to implement something like this. Not a huge deal but I think it would improve the portability experience. Secondly, you only get a measly 1.5 ft USB type-C charging cable. Luckily, with USB type-C being the current standard, people are likely to own multiple lengths of USB type-C cables. Other than those minor cons, I think beachgoers, pool junkies, or any outdoor weekend warriors will love this speaker. Not only does it produce some of the best sound in it's segment, but it's built to take heavy abuse. Buy with confidence, there's very little not to like.

The XE200 Wireless Bluetooth Speaker By Sony is a very compact little sound powerhouse. It can provide up to 16 hours of audio entertainment when paired to your android or iPhone. Like some other speakers it can be daisy chained to other compatible speakers to play music through all of them in complete synchronization to provide a genuine party like environment for you and your friends at nearly any type of gathering. The XE200 has a Line-Shape Diffuser speaker system that will pump out music to a full 180 degrees giving full sound even to the sides of the speaker, not just to listeners directly in front of the speaker or speakers as the case may be. And its dual passive radiators at the ends of the speaker add a degree of depth to the bass reproduction you can feel in your bones.! It is very lightweight and easy to take along nearly anywhere.! Don't worry about if you should pack it along on camping trips, hiking expeditions or a day by water. Its IP67 waterproof, dustproof and shockproof design gives it the versatility of coming along on nearly any adventure you have planned. I do wish it had the ability to be used to charge other devices when out and about like some others but it doesn't do that.

The Sony SRS-XE200 Portable Wireless Speaker is the smallest version of Sony’s new line of portable speakers. This one is about 9” tall, 3” wide, and 3” deep. It’s pretty lightweight and can accompany you just about anywhere. That’s aided by the strap attached to it. It’s pretty nice because you can cinch it up to make sure it stays on your wrist or wherever you want to anchor it. From a design perspective, the charcoal gray coloring is sharp and the combination of mesh and rubber adds to it. That combination is not only for appearance as it also plays a role in the new speaker design and audio quality. It’s called a Line-Shape Diffuser and it’s supposed to push the audio out farther and wider for all to enjoy. I can say that I was slightly disappointed out of the box because I thought it was lacking compared to previous Sony models that I own. However, that’s not to say it’s awful either. It definitely carried throughout the room and even down the hallway. I just thought the sound was lacking. That’s where the Music Center App came to my rescue. Coupling that with the speaker, I was really able to thoroughly enjoy what I was listening to. From the calling side, I didn’t experience any issues there either. My callers were able to hear me well and I could hear them clearly. What more could you ask for? One thing that I am looking forward to doing is picking up another to do the Party Connect. I really like that they are allowing us to connect to multiple units to really ramp things up. This was on previous models and I am a big fan of it. From a simpler connectivity standpoint, I found it super easy to connect the SRS-XE200 to my phone and smart devices. I didn’t have any issues at all and certainly appreciate that. The Bluetooth and Google Fast Pair connections helped out greatly there. Lastly, the Sony SRS-XE200 feels like it was built to be easy to work with while being built to last. The control panel is nice, big, and convenient. The charging area is covered to keep things water and dust free. The unit itself is noted as going through extensive shock testing. It’s also built with sustainable efforts and I applaud Sony for that. Ultimately, I think this is a winning speaker once you have it set up with the Music Center app. I look forward to using it for years to come.

As someone who has had a lot of experience with Sony products across the technology board, including many speakers, headphones, and AVRs, I have to admit, my expectations were not met with the XE200 as far as sound quality OUT OF THE BOX. I say out of the box, because with a little tweaking and knowledge, you can get a better quality, albeit not up to my personal standards but plug and play is barely good. That said, it’s important to remember what this speaker is; the entry level of a series with a rugged, portable, IP67 party speaker design. This isn’t marketed as your high quality full range home speaker, (Sony makes those too and I highly recommend them!) but this speaker is aimed at being a quick grab, easy set up and long lasting pool/beach side speaker. And it’s worth noting it does that very well. The IP67 rating means water or dust doesn’t stand a chance and you can enjoy music on the go in almost any environment. With a very easy pairing setup, you are technically ready to go. But this is where I start to nitpick and have some issues. SETUP The fact that it is advertised and easy on the go means most people won’t bother to do any fine tuning and therefore won’t get the best quality of audio. I myself was actually about to write a more critical review before I realized the Sony app Sony suggests you use IS actually useful. Once I was able to make some EQ adjustments and quality control options, I did notice a better overall sound. However, I still could hear the issues I noticed out of the box. SOUND The sound quality is just too muddy for my taste. Again, some EQ adjustments help here, but overall it sounds like a small speaker they tried hard to get as much low end out of that they could, resulting in a muddy mid range and lack of clarity. One other way to combat this is to actually turn it up, helping the smaller speakers to crank out the mids and highs more and balance out the sound. But it doesn’t change the fact that I opened a Sony branded speaker and had a very specific Sony quality in mind and was disappointed with what I heard. I actually walked away from it for a day because it was so disappointing. But then I saw Sony’s suggestion to use the app and take more control of the sound and it got me past buyers remorse and closer to “this will work in a pinch.” And like I said, I think that’s Sony’s goal here; for a little cheaper price, you can get a darn good speaker, built for any occasion; but it won’t blow away a picky audio ear. (check out their larger XG300 for some serious upgrade in quality …and price) Another note on audio quality that’s a bit odd to me, the speaker is very directional. I assumed it was designed to be placed in a corner of a room and have equal quality sound throughout, but it is definitely most clear sounding right in front but gets more muddy to the sides. This is more noticeable listening up close, if you turn it up and place it in a corner and step back, it does fill the room pretty equal, but that also means don’t expect this to be a great speaker at low levels and close proximity to the listener. OVERALL In the end, like any audio device, my opinion is subjective based on how I prefer my audio to sound. If you really want to know, head to a local best buy and give it a demo listen to know for sure its the quality for you. What I CAN say in this review is that it is very strong build quality, has a convenient carrying strap, easy to set up, an accompanying app that actually is useful, and IP67 rating to last in the elements and battery life to keep the party going. What it lacks in audio quality it gains in build quality. No matter what you’re looking for, Sony has the right one for you, hit up a best buy and give them all a listen. As far as this speaker goes, I would recommend it to my friends I know don’t have as trained an ear as me, but I would not recommend it to friends I know have audio demands like me. In the end, I’m still happy with the speaker and will love using it while working outside or in the garage.

The XE200 has a Line-Shape Diffuser that will help your music reach further, even to the side of the speaker. Plus, with a portable size and handy carry strap, you can take it anywhere you go with ease. Instead of the traditional circular design, our unique diaphragm shape increases sound pressure for booming bass and distinctive, high-quality audio. The XE200 is waterproof so you'll have no worries near the pool or getting it wet. With an IP67 rating, your speaker is sealed against dust, so you can use it on any surface, whether you decide to take it to the beach, the park or the garden. With extensive shock testing you can rest assure that this speaker will withstand inevitable drops, bumps and scrapes that come with everyday use. Thank you for choosing SONY. ~Earl

If you like listening to music for hours, this is the speaker for you. Great base and sound quality. Also, good battery life. My favorite part about this speaker is that it gives you about a 30 minute warning before the battery dies, so you can finish listening to your favorite without it randomly dying on you or finish that last task. The handle size allows for a nice grip , like you are toting an old stereo. It can supply sound to an entire apartment ( small trailer) or a large master bedroom. The lights coming from the speakers are a nice touch and make you feel like you are in the middle of a party. However, I think you can turn them off but they are pretty subtle.

Sony brings some impressive, room filling sound in this medium sized portable speaker. Out of the box it works wonderfully but the lows are something left to be desired. Some tweaking with the EQ in Sony’s Music Center app certainly helps but I feel the best use for this speaker is without trying to drive lower notes too much. Although, I suspect that with some breaking in time the drivers will sound better. Regardless of what you are playing, this speaker can fill a room with high-quality low-level sound. The rugged outer shell provides an excellent grip on the unit. Taking it from my desk as a desktop speaker/intercom for meetings to my backyard to either continue a meeting or just to listen to music or news is flawless. And I don’t need to worry about it getting wet from a sprinkler or a hose while I’m out there with its impressive IP67 waterproof rating. Said rating allows for submersion of this speaker under 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. I don’t recommend testing this, but it is nice to know just how much water it can take on without getting damaged. That is well within the operating environment I plan to use this in.

I enjoy listening to music, usually with headphones, but sometimes on a speaker as well. I’m still rocking a bluetooth speaker from 2017, so when I got a chance to review the new Sony SRS-XE300 I got pretty excited. Keep reading to see my thoughts on it! Appearance: The XE300 looks kind of like a monolith. Yeah, the gray color I received it in makes it even a little more boring than it already looks, but let’s just say that this speaker isn’t going to turn any heads. There are no RGB lights or any other standout features, but it’s not exactly ugly either. Its sharp lines definitely make it look futuristic and I think it’ll blend in with just about any decor. Build Quality: Weighing about 3lbs, this speaker is almost twice as heavy as my last bluetooth speaker and built really solidly. I absolutely love how substantial it feels. The outer layer is a type of waterproof plastic and rubber. The speaker is IP67 rated for dust and is also waterproof. Sony has also drop tested the unit and says it’s really rugged. I will not be throwing my speaker on the floor voluntarily, so I’m going to take Sony’s word on this one. Sound/Microphone: This mid-size speaker pumps out some fantastic sound. Sony advertises that the XE-300 has a line-shape diffuser, X-Balanced speakers and dual passive radiators. So, what does that all mean you might ask? I have no idea, but what I can tell you is that the unit pumps out some very accurate and solid sound. This is not a 360 degree unit though, the sound definitely emits from the front of the unit only as that’s where the speakers are situated. I have a decent sized yard and it filled the entire backyard with my tunes. I didn’t notice any treble distortion when playing Rage Against the Machine or any weirdness with the bass when listening to the new Kendrik Lamar album. The sound at max isn’t quite as loud as I’d like it to be, but my hearing isn’t the best. This speaker will definitely fill most homes and backyards very well, but a big party might drown the music out and I would suggest a bigger speaker for large gatherings. Placing a call was easy and the other end said I sounded fine. Sony advertises that the unit has a noise canceling mic, which is a great addition in case you do need to take a call with this speaker. I’m not sure how many people would actually be using this unit in this way, but I had to test it out of curiosity. Connectivity/Ease of Use: Connecting to bluetooth works just like any other device you’ve ever connected to your phone or tablet. Sony does have its Music Center app that you can download in order to fine tune some of the speaker’s settings and equalizer, but you can totally use the speaker without ever downloading the app. The device supports 2 devices being paired at the same time, which is great as my wife and I don’t have to repair every time we want to use the device with our own phones. The app does allow you to configure some advanced sound settings and battery settings, but overall there’s nothing stopping you from using the unit without the app. You can adjust the volume, mic and change the battery mode right on the device itself. There is a stamina mode that adjusts settings to maximize battery life and a mode you can set on the app that stops the battery from charging to 100% in order to preserve the health of your battery as well. USB-C connectivity is nice as most of my devices are now using this as a standard. Finding new devices still using micro-USB is disappointing, so I’m glad Sony didn’t go that route. One complaint is that for a relatively expensive speaker that advertises the ability to quick-charge, you do not receive a quick charger in the box. This omission is unacceptable in my opinion because of its price. You do receive a USB-A to USB-C cable, but it’s up to you to find a charger that supports quick charging to take advantage of this advertised feature. Overall Impressions: Listening to music on the SRS-XE300 is a joy. It may not turn heads visually, but will definitely perk up some ears with its sound. You’re getting premium quality sound that will fill the majority of spaces with this speaker and I don’t think anyone will be disappointed with that. My only gripe is that Sony doesn’t include an actual charger with this premium unit that advertises quick-charging as a selling point.

First I must disclaim that I’m a long time Sony fan, particularly in video, and have owned multiple ES higher end sound systems over the past two plus decades. Their expertise has traditionally been electronics, and not particularly speaker design, so I wasn’t sure what to expect from this XE200 portable Bluetooth compact speaker. Unboxing and setting up was a breeze, enable and tether to Bluetooth and voila, up and running in minutes. There is guided tutorial in the Sony Music Center app with settings to optimize and EQ sound to taste. You can also add in Spotify, Tidal and YouTube music. Curious how Pandora didn’t make the cut, perhaps future upgrade or licensing dispute?? With Sony’s new line shape diffuser this speaker does not project sound in a 360 degree bubble as per say an Apple HomePod, but instead is very directional. Placed on the corner of the pool rim I noted slight modifications to the projected angle made a fairly impactful difference in the sweet spot. I really would have liked to test this in stereo mode for more even dispersion. At the far end of the 30 foot pool I still had good decent sound, however as my ear approached the unit, the sound was much louder, indicating a fairly steep decay over distance, likely more than typical -6db to my untrained ear. The directionality can be advantageous however since ppl behind the speaker typically don’t want to be blasted with sound. It’s also worth nothing that the Sony Music Center app has a setting for “priority on sound quality” that did seem to make a discernible difference in my testing. I tended to keep Dynamic Normalizer off, but did prefer the DSEE HX which upscales compressed or CD-quality to high-resolution audio. Pros + excellent sound for small form factor + bass output impressive + X-balanced line shape diffuser + dual-passive radiators + better audio than JBL Link Music + IP67 water-proof (rubber usb cap secured) + water-proof controls for wet hands operation + great to sit beside the pool without worry + Sony Music Center app imports Apple Music playlists Cons -lacks midrange and top end detail -less robust than Denon Home 150 -lacks HEOS or similar music service -lacks Apple AirPlay 2 (bluetooth only) Conclusion Perhaps I was a bit unfair to compare this “wireless” unit, to a more expensive Denon Home 150 “wired” device (that is NOT water-proof). Since I’m already ensconced in the HEOS ecosystem I had hoped to be able to position these around the 4 corners of the pool, and link into the same source. This product would really shine if starting a portable (or permanent) outdoor audio system, with the addition of the larger unit with more bass. The wide dispersion pattern would allow 4 of these to provide all coverage. Additionally as a “pool speaker” the inclusion of echo cancelling microphone means you can answer calls without racing to dry your hands and unlock your phone, something the more expensive Sonos systems do not offer. Verdict : Buy

Hi TechReviews,
Thank you for taking the time to write such an in-depth review of your experience with your SRS-XE200 speaker. We're truly glad you appreciate most of the features of this speaker. It's good to hear you like the excellent audio, newly developed X-Balanced Speaker Unit, Line-Shape Diffuser, IP67 rating, and you're utilizing the difference functions and built-in eq on the Sony Music Center app. It is a Bluetooth only model. Unfortunately, it does not support Apple AirPlay. We personally love the Stereo mode and encourage everyone to try it out. With Stereo Pair, you can connect two speakers wirelessly for an epic stereo sound.
The XE200 is designed more around portability rather than trying to get sound all around the speaker uniformly. Both of the XE200s speakers are facing the same direction so you can get true Left/Right separation like the artist intended. And with the Line-Shape Diffuser, the sound spreads further to the front area of the speaker, allowing you to enjoy the same sound quality whether at the front or to the side of the speaker. This means everyone in your venue can dance to the same music, feeling the same sound quality. Plus, it's lightweight and has a handy strap, meaning that you can take your music wherever you go.
Thank you for trusting Sony! Your loyalty means everything to us.
