I bought this camera as an aspiring content creator! I took a trip to Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas and the footage and photographs captured by the Sony - ZV1 11 were absolutely impeccable! The battery life was pretty great (I never changed or charged the battery during my entire 6 night stay...when I remembered to pick up the camera lol). My 15 year old said the specs are incredible (I think he's more excited for the camera than I am)

Purchased mostly for video content and it's done a great job. Being light and compact makes it easy to take on trips and carry daily. Mic input has been great with shotguns and wireless. Also use frequently as a webcam which is quick and painless to set up. Only negative is photography performance, but never intended to use for photos. If still photography is important there are better compact options.

The camera itself is fantastic! My troubles are with Best Buy’s open box (aka used) items. I had originally purchased this open box camera online through BB at a discounted price of about $65 + $100 off for a sale, and was guaranteed that it would have all its original parts and the product was like new. Unfortunately, the camera they gave me was missing the charging cord and the lens made a concerning sound when I turned the camera off and on. I went in store to replace the camera, which caused me to lose the sale price and, of course, the sale price. My wallet hurts after paying the original price plus losing about $50 in taxes from the original purchase. Don’t make my mistake. Just buy new and wait for a good sale.

I bought the item as “brand new” but received it with an open box so I’m assuming it was used, which makes it feel like I overpaid for the camera. At first I was concerned but so far the product has been doing exactly what I expected. It works well, the battery lasts longer than I thought and the quality of both videos and pictures are great!

I bought this for capturing holiday vacations this camera is better for capturing videos than taking pictures. Sometimes the background is overexposed and I need to learn how to use it better. I also got the color white and after a few use there are black scratch marks on the corners, better to get black.
