If you're looking for a Vlogging camera, travel camera, or looking to capture more video clips of friends and family for memories sake and want to get a step above mobile phone quality, this camera is an excellent choice. I purchased this camera along side my larger Sony camera as a b-cam for Vlogging and it has been amazing to use. The wider lens is perfect for vlogs or even just photos with friends and family. It's so small and portable, but most importantly the quality of the 4k footage is so good that you can hardly notice which camera I'm using in my videos. I also love the quality of the mics - it sounds great. This camera also has a ton of new features that the more expensive Sony camera's have. Things light skin softening (I use it on low), product show case, amazing AF speeds, touch screen with quick menu buttons which I find so convenient. Overall, really love the camera size and quality, it's a beast in your pocket! My only criticism is that the zoom is a bit loud. So just keep in mind if you're recoding and zoom in, you'll hear it in your video. It's not a deal break for me but just something to note.

I have been thinking about whether getting this or the zv1. Watched a bunch of review videos about the M2 and how it’s better than the previous releases. It’s the wider lens that made me get this. Yes, you can always buy wide lens as an attachment, but as a content creator, I would want something that’s simple to use. I’m not a pro in cameras, as a newbie, it was really easy to navigate. If you’re still deciding which one to get, GET THIS!

It’s good for you Youtubers. It helped me get started. I wanted the white one very badly and I’m very happy. The Best Buy carried it. It comes with very good presets even though I don’t know what I’m doing. It’s still sounds. It looks really good and it’s easy to connect my DGI microphone to. (I did drop it though now my lens doesn’t fully close but that okay …)

I bought this camera for something that was a higher quality than my phone but more portable than my mirrorless camera. This has fit the bill perfectly. Be sure to pick up extra batteries or a battery bank if you plan to shoot all day.

4.5/5. It’s honestly a really great camera. I bought it as open box - good conditions and it’s been about two months and I’ve not had any problems. It just didn’t come with a charger. The video performance is spectacular. Still working out the photography part. Only downside is how quickly the battery dies. Hopefully Sony catches up on that. I’ve bought extra batteries and keep 2-3 with me in case but normally don't use more than 2 batteries a full day of filming.

this camera changed my life. i’ve been wanting to vlog & document my life for a while and finally invested in my dreams! i love the skin blur affect, perfect for when i’m not wearing makeup. the zv1 Mii is amaIng if you want a wide angle lense to capture more compared to the zoomed in original zv1. it’s more of a vlogging/video camera instead of a photo camera. only downside…there is no flash. you will have to add an external flash/light if you want. but over all i take it everywhere with me. buy extra batteries with a charging station on amazon because the battery life is only about 30min!! but the actual camera itself is the best thing i’ve ever done. 10/10 recommend to all my vloggers!! chase your dreams!!

I decided to Purchase this camera to use at my child’s graduation, I decided that I have definitely also wanted the selfie stick as I also grew tired of holding the camera and nervous about dropping it onto the ground. Uploaded some images of both the camera self, as well as the selfie Sony stick. I definitely recommend this camera for both photos and recording as well as vlogging. Be convenient the camera connect to both iPad, his cell phone or you will never regret getting this camera as it is very versatile in what can be done.

Excellent camera! I sold my Canon Powershot G7X MII to get this one. I’ve heard great reviews and yes this camera does exactly that. The resolution is much clearer and crisp, functions are easier to manage, and the audio outputs much clearer. A pretty penny but a 10/10 investment. Great company!

The quality you get out of this somewhat affordable "Vlog Camera" is sometimes ALMOST on par with professional footage you might see in a movie or commercial. Although the zoom is terrible, I'm still loving this camera! Great Value!

Best camera ever for beginners content creators. It’s very easy to use and great features. If you have a 15 and up with the new c charger you can connect the camera straight to your phone only using the charger wire and have you pictures and videos that easy.
