Well this is it, the final season of Spartacus and it ends "Big", there are many amazing moments in this last season, I mean from the start of the first episode you know that the scale of the show it's much bigger than previous seasons. The acting is one of the best I've seen in a TV show, you can see how much passion the actors have. One of the things I like the most of Spartacus is its music, Joseph LoDuca did an great job with the score for this season(one of my favorites TV scores) again since the first episode when you hear the music for the first battle you know this series is in a new whole level. The bluray quality is amazing, and the TrueHD audio track is powerful! The series has a lot of action, violence and nudity but at the end what will keep you watching it's the story, that's the best thing about Spartacus. Highly recommended!!

If you're never seen or heard of Spartacus yet, be sure to watch it all. From season 1 (Blood and Sand) to the prequel (Gods of the Arena), Season 2 (Vengeance) and finally this final season War of the Damned. Spartacus is very violent and practically uncensored in many aspects but incredible to watch. Much like the movies 300 and Gladiator and not for the faint of heart or very young (and especially not for the very young faint of heart =o ).

Though some painted Spartacus as a Gladiator and 300 ripoff it quickly came into its own after a half dozen episodes. The sharp, colorful dialoge; the twisting Machiavellian scheming; and the excellent fighting sequences were a joy to watch. Though the final season lags a bit in the beginning, as the protagonists becomes increasingly desperate in the latter half it makes for great TV.

I was truly skeptical when the new replacement for Spartacus was cast upon the tragic news of Andy Whitfield's passing back in 2011. However, this final season pays enough tribute to where this story all began. WIth that being said I would like to add that buying this season just for the final episode would be worth the price alone. This show is that good!

I am a fan of Spartacus and this was particularly well-done. If you like this genre, watching this DVD will be time well spent. Filled with good actors and spectacular scenery. Never a dull moment!

This movie is the last to complete our collection of the series. The series was very entertaining and kept you glued to seat the whole time. Definitely NOT for kids because of the graphic scenes.

Loved the show, would of enjoyed more seasons, the first actor to play spartacus was amazing, The second one really kept the show going.

Spartacus had many production changes over the years but this final season doesn't disappoint. The quality of the blu ray is excellent and even better than the broadcast.

Well if you like Spartacus you have to watch the ending right. This series was great. Great fighting good storyline and lots of blood and death.

I LOVE HISTORY AND SO HOW COULDN'T I GET THIS DVD THEACTON AND THEVIOLENCE IS EXCELLENT, THE ACTING ISN'T ALL THAT GREAT, BUT I DIDN'T MIND.

Though this series ran for only four seasons, it packed a lot of punch. Great action, engaging story, and memorable characters.

The show did a good job on concluding the series. It has a lot of action and all the other stuff that goes with the series.

What a great way to end a great series. Definetly not for children, but a must watch for the sword and sandal enthusiast.

Spartacus has been a great reason from the beginning, but this is the first time an adversary did not underestimate him and that made the season compelling. The final few episodes are truly epic considering the budget they must be working under.
