The way Best Buy does reviews fails in the regards of TV Shows and Movies. This should be done with a much longer gestation period. In other words, ask me a year from now, 2 years from now, 5 years from now. I have started it... It is on repeat.

Great sci fi sci-fi video a true must have If You're a Star Trek fan I would highly recommend this

I really enjoyed this first season and look forward to seeing the second season. I just feel like ten episodes is an awfully short season. Also, couldn't they have found an actor who looked more like William Shatner than the one they went with? He did not even resemble a young Shatner. Also, the actress playing Uhura is WAY to short! My biggest criticism on the final episode is if they were going to redo the old Star Trek episode they should have followed it more closely than they did. I do like the funny episodes. My other gripe is the GORN, how could such primitive creatures be smart enough to build and operate mechanical devises and get into space with them?

Finally, a well thought out, well written, live-action Star Trek series... haven't seen that in nearly two decades! Once again, a hopeful future with characters exploring the galaxy, both big (space, the final frontier) and small (the human one). Captain Pike may easily become my favorite captain, at this rate!

Glad they had this in stock on shelf! We notice the selection of DVDs is getting smaller and smaller! We get why, it’s just kinda sad all that is slowly disappearing! We are still hands on kinda people! I know. We better get used to it all going away

As a Sci Fi fan particularly Star Trek, these episodes expand the story of many characters told back during the 60s and bluray or higher quality makes it worth watching any show with significant volume of sound and special effect.

This is the first season of this series. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the actors portrayed the characters. These characters are well established, and playing them true to the established roles is quite the accomplishment.

Star Trek strange New worlds season 1 is a great series if you love The Star Trek canon in the lore it is adventurous and a lot of fun and I love the modern CGI that makes Star Trek so entertaining

I love the Star Trek world and Strange New World Series actually is better than I anticipated. The cast is all great and truly believable in their roles. I’m hooked and can’t wait for series 2.

However, if you're a fan of the original Star Trek series, Strange New Worlds will disappoint you. Do yourself a favor and watch the eleven episodes of the nonprofit "Star Trek Continues" which completes the final year of Kirk's historic five-year mission. I recently discovered this critically-acclaimed, award-winning, fan-produced webseries which is considered canon by Gene Roddenberry's son, Rod. The very first episode of Star Trek Continues, "Pilgrim of Eternity" is a sequel to "Who Mourns for Adonais?" and features Michael Forest, the same actor who played Apollo in the original 1967 episode. If CBS/Paramount hired Vic Mignogna (who plays Captain Kirk) to produce additional episodes of Star Trek Continues, the original Star Trek would truly continue.

Omg awesome series in my top 10 with supernatural, smallville, great fun great take as good or may i say better than original star trek.

A good start for the new cast. I wasn’t totally comfortable with Uhura being off her usual assignment. The new Spock is good.
