A: I asked Best Buy customer service and they said an email with the codes for the digital content (which should include early access) will go out on September 1.
A: The premium edition unlocks a skin pack, a digital art book and soundtrack, and the game's first expansion when it comes out. The premium edition also releases 5 days earlier than the base game, so if you buy it then you get to play the game up to 5 days early.
A: Best buy rep just told me they were unaware of any access codes and to wait for pickup... :/

Q: When will the codes for early access be sent out?
A: BB CS said it comes with the physical items instead of emailed (although other answers conflict that so who knows). Check your tracking info, but I'm never pre-ordering through BB ever agian.
A: This version does not come with a disk. Gamepass will allow you to play 9/1 if you preload Starfield AND have the deluxe edition code redeemed.
A: Because this is a physical upgrade for the physical edition. There's a digital upgrade that you can get for either edition. This is specifically for people who want the steelbook and or patch along with their physical copy of the game.
A: You can buy the physical disc, but you just won't be able to play it until September 6th. Only digital downloads will be able to be played on September 1st for early access. If you have gamepass, you can download it that way for early access, and purchase the physical disc later.
