The 4-Slot PCIe Expansion Chassis enables desktops and servers to accommodate up to four external PCIe x1 add-on cards, providing a total bandwidth of up to 10 Gbps. It connects to the host system via a proprietary PCIe 2.0 x2 USB-C host card and a 5.9ft (1.8m) USB Type-C cable with screw-locks. The chassis is constructed from SECC steel, ensuring durability and operation in environments up to 140°F (60°C). It offers flexible power options, including a 12V 3A power adapter and a terminal block supporting 12-24V DC input. The expansion chassis is OS-independent, compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux systems, and includes a low-profile bracket for compatibility with small form factor systems.
