Excellent for your lower and midback support; arms could use more cushioning; a lot are levers to adjust positions; study built and really easy to assemble

I was looking for a chair that provides lumbar support and comfort and this one provides both !! The cushion is firm, just how I wanted. The arm rests are super comfortable and the fact that they can be adjusted in width helps me with my natural position of typing. The built quality is excellent and love the truffle color. Definitely recommend it.

I've been working from home for the last 4 years and could never fathom why any one would pay $600 or more for an office chair when you could buy a decent one at staples for $100. What I didn't realize is that those cheap chairs are comfortable for maybe 2 hours but after that, your butt starts to hurt and it becomes really uncomfortable especially when your sitting for 8-12 hours a day. That's when I started to do some research and I found out about Steelcase. I was first alarmed by the price and thought it was ridiculous to pay so much for a chair, but after having tried it, I now understand. The first thing I noticed was that the seating pad offers more cushion and is much more firm as well. The issue I had on some of these cheaper chairs was that the seating pad was too thin and therefore after only a few hours, I would feel the hard plastic. I've sat in this chair for 12+ hours and my butt has not hurt once. This chair allows you to adjust the position of the seat pad which makes a world of difference as you can adjust just right for you. The back rest is also really comfortable and I love that it has a breathable mesh as it can get really hot down here in Florida, but my back doesn't sweet or get hot. There is also a lumbar support that is adjustable for additional back support. The arm rest are made of a nice foam like material that is really comfortable and can be adjusted inwards, outwards, forward and back. This allows you to adjust perfectly to where you're arms can lay on them perfectly. The chair may be pricey but it's worth the investment especially if you need an office chair to sit for extended periods of time.

Was hesitant due to orice at first., but after usng this the first night, i will neber even consider a slighlty cheaper “gaming” chair again. This chair has made gaming such a better experience. No more back pain, discomfort, or putting a pulliw behind me to try and fix a poor lumbar support that a typical galing chair offers. The mesh back, adjustable lumbar supoort, and arm rests all come together to make this chair newr perfect.

This chair was extremely easy to assemble. Contains options to adjust chair arms, back tension and angle, seat height and depth, and height adjustable lumbar to customize chair to each individual user's preference. Seems sturdy, comfortable, and hopefully it will last a long time.

Needed a high-quality office chair. This one is very sturdy, comfortable and provides good back support. The arms are adjustable too.

Was tired of replacing cheaper chairs every few years, I decided to get a decent real office chair. But, I did not want to spend over $1,000 for a chair. And, I did not need all the adjustments for my back and things. This chair is perfect for me. Although the seat is not softest when new, after a few weeks, the seat has been broken in. I have sat in it over 14 hours in one day and no chair fatigue. Overall, I love the chair and would buy it again.

Should’ve bought this a long time ago! Well constructed and super comfortable!

Needed to upgrade my home office chair due to working from home more. Had sat in various Steelcase chairs over the years and all had been comfortable so figured I'd spend the money for one at home. Overall it's a solid chair with good adjustability, with the exception of the seat base. There is some play in it that causes a bit of a wobble. I'm guessing it's a quality issue and not a design issue. Haven't pursued a repair or replacement as it isn't annoying enough to go through the hassle of shipping it back.

The chair seems to be high quality as far as build and materials, but it was not comfortable. It is not as adjustable as I thought it would be, I guess you have to spend a lot more to get those features. Here is what I didn’t like about it: The adjustable lumbar support is basically a horizontal piece of hard plastic that slides up and down inside the back of the chair. If I had it in the position I needed it for lumbar support, I could feel the top edge of the plastic digging into my back. Not too noticeable, but I’m sure once I use the chair for a while the fabric is going to wear and this is going to get really uncomfortable. A problem I have noticed with chairs with lumbar support is they tilt you back. This maybe wouldn’t be an issue if I didn’t have neck issues or if I could tilt the chair a bit more forward to where it was comfortable, but I found myself jutting my head/neck forward to compensate and my neck was killing me after a few hours of using this chair. It isn’t comfortable. I have back issues and, while my back felt okay after using this chair ( not my neck though), I just couldn’t get comfortable. By the end of the day I was so uncomfortable….

Great alternative to expensive brand chair. Purchased because of warranty, price and reviews. Body doesn't hurt after a few hours of sitting like old chair. Glad I purchased.

Ergonomically the best chair I’ve had. Cheaper than other premium chairs.

Super easy to put together. Three pieces that assemble without tools. More than enough adjustability options. Comfortable. Seat is a bit firm, but still comfortable.

The chair itself seems sturdy and well-built. Seat is on the firmer side and may get uncomfortable for some.
