Q: Does this headset come with an adapter cable to use a split mic and audio output for PC?
A: Yes, it comes with 2 cables. 1 connecting directly to the headset, 2nd cable is to help split the audio/mic if your PC has those separate ports. If your PC has those separate ports, you will need to utilize both cables.
Q: Can you use these with your ipad and nintendo switch
A: I am using mine with an iPad Air 2. Works great
Q: Does it use a charger and if so, does it come with charger cord?
A: No charger required. They are not amplified like some wired headsets. *cough*recon 700 *cough*. This was a major selling point for me when I returned a previous pair that needed to be charged even though they were wired.
A: I game online and I use the wired one. While the Bluetooth offers the convenience it doesn’t make much difference to me. One thing to think about is delay between headset and controller and controller to Xbox. If you have a wire then it’s pretty much direct.
A: Your Xbox controller needs a 3.5mm jack (I think all the new ones have it). Yes, you can hear the game and hear people talk and talk into the mic. Make sure your Xbox settings are adjusted so the party chat goes through your headset instead of just your TV.
Q: Does this have a microphone?
A: Yes. It’s retractable.
A: It has a flexible boom that retracts into the one speaker. Pull it out to use the mic, has mute button on headset when not in use. Push the boom back in and goes almost flush with headset.
A: If the SKU is 61503/Black or 61506/ White for the Arctis 3, or 61511 for the Arctis 3 console edition they are the 2019 editions
