They’re really good sound quality wise, but the main reason I bought them is for them to match the colors of my monitor, but that feature doesn’t work even after trying everything

Overall the best sound on monitor or pc speakers i ever had ,truly immersive The only complain i have is that it cannot be adjusted via app settings only if conected to a pc, if one day is possible no speakers will be able to beat it

Amazing sound quality, app even has the ability to reflect what’s on the screen, I would give this 5 stars but the app is also super buggy. DO NOT DO THE FIRMWARE UPDATE!!! I had to go through a super annoying process to fix it lol, but overall I highly recommend it!

I really wanted to like them and keep them as a replacement for my 6-year old Logi Z625 speakers, but these do not provide an improvement. They lack soundstage big time, audio stream from the satellites is very directional while bass seems to shake the floor, but I can't feel any bass. My old Z625 with Optical cable actually has a much wider soundstage and the subwoofer produces more frequencies and you can really feel the depth of the bass. Arena 7's do have good vocals/high frequencies since satellites have their own tweeters, but narrow soundstage just does not let them shine. Another con is that the bass knob control is on the subwoofer, it can be hard to reach. Arena 7's RGB lighting looks great. If I did not have any speakers right now, I would've kept these just for RGB. If you want RGB and good vocals - go with Arena 7, if you want better soundstage and deeper wider bass - get Z625 w/Optical cable.

The steelseries gg software is very problematic on windows 11. It will sometimes randomly lose it's mind and have no audio out of any device requiring the restart of sonar and setting the default outputs back. When this happens it breaks the windows 11 quick settings functionality (the menu doesn't pop) and you need to reboot to gain the functionality back. The speakers themselves sound good, but be aware that it does not come with a 3.5mm cable if you are trying to get these set up on a multi input monitor. You also need the steelseries gg software to set the colors (or just turn the lights off with a double tap on the function button on the right speaker). My recommendation would be to not use the steelseries gg software at all, it's janky.

First, they sound amazing - which is what I bought them for -but I have a few major gripes, enough that I knocked a star off. 1) Windows 11 - Screen sampling for the LED lights does NOT work. Works great for my monitor, fails completely with the Steel Series - so I have to choose some other random lighting effect that does not match the ambient colors like my monitor does. 2) COMES ON FULL FRIGGIN BLAST EVERY SINGLE TIME THE PC WAKES UP! - Googling offers this to be a "Known issue" with some race condition between the USB / PC wakeup and the speakers. As soon as you adjust your volume on the PC, the loudness drops to your previously set level - but when I say they come on full blast, they come on fullllllll blast. If you're like me and like to use the PC to dictate how loud things get, you'll need to readjust your behavior... I had to turn the volume knob WAY down on the speaker and turn the PC volume up to 80-90% (figure out how loud I want them to EVER be max...) and that way when the speakers turn on full volume, they are no longer rattling the fillings in the back of my molers.

Sound quality is great, price is fair. Only complaint is that the main power switch is on the back of the sub, so its inconvenient to access if you keep the sub on the floor under a desk. No other issues. Worth the money.

Just exchanged my first Arena 7 for another set because the left speaker LED is much lighter than the right. I am coming from Logitech Z506 5.1, which is nearly impossible to beat for the price back in the day. I also bought the Z906 5.1 and the Arena 7 at the same time. The Arena 7 max volume with my preferred EQ setting is only about 27%-30% output capacity of the Z906. However, the more I listen to the Arena 7, it's tuned almost perfectly for any desktop/laptop non theatre setting. Maybe I am getting older, but I don't necessarily need a "loud" set up anymore. The RGBs do not adapt to everything you are watching or listening to. It works about 80% of the time. I wish there was about 25% more volume. The rich balanced sound seals the deal.

These little speakers pack a big punch, good depth in sound quality, overall the performance and sound quality of these speakers are excellent and I’m very happy!!!

It sounds good and i love the subwoofer my only issue is the volume control delay where i go way to loud before the speakers catch up.

This speaker system is quite nice, great response, plenty of bass and very clean. Installation was a snap. Only thing I would like is more volume.

Good sounds and bass, little difficult to setup the proper audio outputs with headphones.

Awesome hardware. Some slight issues with Steelseries Sonar but easily fixable. Easy to switch between bluetooth mode and PC. Great sound quality and EQ mixer on PC. Fits my needs perfectly! Some problems with sonar stealing and changing system defaults, especially after an update BUT easily fixable. Though i do wish there was a way to turn off this function.

Audio is great, software is not. If the software was better, this would be a solid setup but the constant reconfiguring of audio channels gets annoying.

Was looking for a new set of speakers to replace my nearly 10 year old Logitech speakers, these are expensive, but kept the intent of keeping peripherals in the Steelseries family. The sound quality is good, the reactive lights DO NOT work if HDR is enabled which is a massive disappointment.

Speakers are good, still not as good as my older set of Corsair speakers. Sound sometimes sounded tinny. Potentially just an issue with how mine are cabled and not necessarily an issue with the speakers themselves. Back lights on the speakers were the main selling point for me.

These are excellent speakers for a a mid range gaming system. My only complaint is I wish that the sonar software worked for the MAC to adjust the audio levels, but at this time it only supports Windows.
