Customers find value in the Rival 3 Lightweight Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse's ease of use, Bluetooth connectivity, lightweight design, and reasonable price. Many appreciate its responsiveness, comfortable ergonomics, suitable size, and aesthetic RGB lighting. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the battery life and scroll wheel functionality. Additionally, a few users have noted issues with the side buttons and occasional lag.
I have used many mice in the past few years and this mouse is pretty good for the price, just wish it was able to charge with a cable instead of using a battery (peaked immortal in valorant.) Cant fault it though because it is probably the only mouse at this price range that has Bluetooth connectivity and has rgb lighting while being as light weight as it is. Not bad at all for an entry level mouse. (People with bigger hands would really love the feel of it.)

I bought this way back last year knowing I would use this as a normal mouse, and hoping down the road if I get back to gaming with a mouse and keyboard, I can take advantage of the side buttons for key modifiers. It worked well as a normal mouse, still clicks like new, has a decent weight, nice form factor. The issue however is with the side buttons. One of the normal things to do with these kind of mice is bind Shift, Ctrl or Alt on it. This thing just presses the button once and doesn't hold it, unless you set it to toggle hold, which means you need to press the button twice to do what's supposed to be done while you hold the key. It doesn't help as well that the SteelSeries application isn't that intuitive, but upon testing other programs like it, looks like it's the same with other brands, with Razer being the easiest to configure (pretty resource hungry though). It's sad to learn about this issue after a year of owning it, which sucks. Even crappy off-brand mice can do a hold on a key modifier. The build quality however is pretty good so I didn't dock it down to 2-stars.

This is my first time using a wireless mouse and I highly recommend. One thing I will say is the battery life may be a bit low. For me i keep a lot of batteries around so it’s not a problem, but just something to keep in mind
