Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. Originally released in 1990, Refugees Of The Heart pairs Steve Winwood's dynamic performance with Will Jennings' lyrics. The album contains elements of Christian music as well as prog-rock. The standout track is 'One And Only ManInch' performed with Jim Capaldi, his former partner in the band Traffic. By coincidence, a Traffic reunion followed in 1994. Because of that collaboration, Winwood would not record another solo album until late 1997. Also InchI Will Be HereInch and InchAnother Deal Goes DownInch were released as singles. Before his successful solo career, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Winwood was a key member of The Spencer Davis Group, Traffic, Blind Faith and Go. Album Tracks 1.
