Customers are impressed with the auto-tracking feature of the 1080p Powered Wifi Auto Tracking Camera. Many appreciate how well the camera follows moving objects. Positive feedback highlights the surprising tracking ability, especially given the camera's compact size. The automatic tracking functionality is a key selling point for this product.
My wife and I decided we needed to get a security camera to give us a live view on our cell phones so we can watch our dogs when we were out of the house. After careful research, I decided to buy the Swann Tracker Security camera. I love that the camera automatically tracks any moving objects. There is a great comfort being able to look at our phone on the Swann Ap and watch every movement of the 2 dogs and to know that they are being good and they are safe. We can’t believe how sharp the 180- degree view is especially when you zoom in. We use the built-in microphone to talk to the doggies and they get excited and love hearing our voices. I am very happy with the purchase knowing anytime we leave the house we have comfort that everything is fine at home.

Only buy this camera if these features sound good to you. My WIFI and new phone are not the problem, you can't get any better. This camera had only one good point. The tracking ability is surprising, especially for such a small package. I aimed it at a 75" TV and watched on the Swann app as the camera tracked the action. It quickly panned around the screen to center on the person or object that was moving. It was about 80% accurate. I'm impressed with THIS ONE PART of the system. 1) I bought new. Best Buy sent an open box product without the box. All of the parts came poorly packaged in a generic brown cardboard box. Obviously not a new item. Selling it in this condition is fine, but it needs to be agreed upon in advance. I would have said no. Send me a new one for the price of a new one... not a used one for the price of a new one... 2) It was easy to set up with the Swann app. I started and stopped the Swann app numerous times. Each time starting the app was a crap shoot. Sometimes it connected to the camera and sometimes it didn't. It took a minute or more on the times that it connected. At the same time, the Swann app was easily connecting to 4 other cameras through a Swann DVR8-5680RN (that system is nice 4K video, you can almost count nose hairs, if it's something you're into). 3) Completely worthless with the Google Home app. It always took several minutes to begin displaying the camera feed. The camera feed stopped after 15 to 20 seconds. It took at least a minute to get it started again. 4) It only records 15 to 25 second videos... HUNDREDS OF THEM in three hours. EACH OF THOSE VIDEOS MUST BE DOWNLOADED INDIVIDUALLY TO FIND OUT IF THERE IS ANYTHING OF VALUE ON THEM... hundreds of 20 second videos in only three hours! This is absolutely worthless. 5) Audio could not be understood from the speaker. The audio was worthless if you want to communicate with people near the camera, because it was too quiet and garbled. 6) Remotely listening to people in the room, is too quiet to be of any use unless they are very close to the camera and speak loudly. So it's worthless in most circumstances. 7) The problem of poor audio doesn't matter because there is a 20 second delay in the audio and video signal. Something moves or makes noise in the room, it doesn't show up on the phone app for 20 seconds. The delay is NOT the fault of my VERY FAST WIFI or my brand new Samsung phone. 8) Audio on the recordings is low volume, but acceptable in pointless 20 second videos. 9) If the videos weren't useless due to the hundreds of 20 second videos, they're also not very good quality video. The 180 degree camera lens sounds like a good idea until you see it. There isn't a straight line anywhere. Everything has a fisheye effect so bad that it's distorted beyond recognition. A straight edge of a table near the camera, was at least a 90 degree arc which took up a third of the image due to the distortion. Nothing can be near the front of the camera because of this. Everything else is distorted to varying degrees based on distance from the camera.

Absolutely love these! I have three properties and finally I can view all and have comfort knowing all is okay. Easy to set up and use, and overall a great value for the money. I am going to buy more for each property to cover different angles, although these do cover 180-degrees and has tracking to follow any moving object. I like that it alerts me if there is movement. For hurricane season, this will be a valuable tool (until the power and internet goes out). I have tried other cameras, but found them difficult to use, not reliable, and more expensive.
