Q: Will this work with a Swann NVW-650
A: Hi Bullhead. You won’t need this antenna because the NWV-650 can already connect via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi to your router if you want it to. So you won’t gain anything extra by adding this antenna. -SD, Swann Team

You can add the USB antenna to the following recorder series: DVR-4480V, DVR-4580V, DVR-4680, DVR-4680X, DVR-4780V, DVR-4980V (4 channel), and DVR-4980 (8 and 16 channel), DVR-5580, DVR-5680, NVR-8580. The Wi-Fi range is up to 100ft/30m (depending on local conditions: if there are no walls in between and no other wireless devices around.)
