The original has always been one of my all time favorites. Glad they fixed the broken MVP system lastwithout completely trashing the game like they did with the PSP release. (Hate that so many people think PSP is the OG release) Not sure about the voice acting yet but it can always be turned off.

My top 3 strategy games of all time are Final Fantasy Tactics, Heroes Of Might And Magic III, and this bad boy- Tactics Ogre. This version takes the best parts of the original ps1 and psp releases and adds many great new additions. Pros: -Great Story. Mature and elegant dialog. -Execellent combat that doesn't revolve around lame rock/paper/scissor mechanics. -Execellent troop variety and customization options. Classes are much better balanced now when compared to the previous versions. -Difficulty shifts from very challenging at times to an easier moderate at others. Winning the tougher battles that have your back against the wall will leave you feeling incredibly satisfied. -Extensive and FUN post game material with customizable new game + options that allow you to control what carries over. -The soundtrack has been fully recorded with a live orchestra and it really hits the spot. Mid: -Voice Acting is mostly great but a few characters are pretty trash. Canopus sounds like dork. Raveness (age 23) sounds like a depressed 60 year old lunch lady. The dialog could use more warmth in the mixing to better blend in with the orchestral sound track. -A new battle mechanic in TO: Reborn are buff cards that randomly spawn across the field. Any friendly or enemy unit that picks up a card will see their damage output increase significantly. This new feature creates more strategic depth in how you decide to maneuver your troops and who you attack first. I don't hate this new addition, but I don't love it either. I wish the game was balanced in a way that allowed players a choice in the options menu to toogle this mechanic on or off. Cons: -Navigation through menus can be a pain. There could have been a more streamlined way to outfit your troops with new gear and items. This annoyance carries over to comparing stats between classes, equipment, and characters. Definitely spent more time cycling through menus than I wanted. -The Camera is too zoomed in during story dialog sequences. It might not look off for PC players but it definitely does on a 60 inch TV. Overall, this game is absolute fire. It is laced in the DNA that grew to become Final Fantasy Tactics. Get it!

If you're here you already know about this game. Not much to say but if you want some graphical improvements and 0 loading times, play on PS5 (this ps4 disc comes with ps5 code)

Great tactical rpg. If you have played the previous games, you’ll enjoy it! For new players who have never played nor heard of it, look up gameplay videos so you understand the concept of the game.

This is a high quality game, and a great remake of a disc-launcher title.

I liked the PSP version a lot, but this new version is even better with the added voice acting.

Another remake of the classic SNES title. If you've never play this Square Enix game, now's your chance. Extremely deep, and now comes with a few QOL changes to make the gameplay faster.
