Crafted by the renowned music equipment brand Tama, this drum throne is designed to cater to the needs of drummers who demand both quality and versatility in their gear. The Round Rider XL seat is a testament to Tama's commitment to comfort and support. It features a traditional, gently rounded cushion that has been a favorite among drummers for its versatility. This new extra-large version offers a wider surface area and a thicker, super-padded seat top, ensuring that drummers can enjoy extended playing sessions without discomfort. The Glide-Tite Grip Joint is a standout feature that ensures a rock-solid connection between the seat and the base. This metal-to-metal contact point is designed to withstand even the most intense performances, eliminating any concerns about stability, no matter how heavy the playing.Tama's innovative Seat Lock design incorporates a two-piece locking hinge collar system, which guarantees an exceptionally secure base-to-seat connection. The oversized wing nut allows for effortless tightening, ensuring that the throne remains stable and free of the common "wobble" that can affect the connection over time.Stability is further enhanced by the Super Stabilizer Design, which lowers the center of gravity by reducing the distance between the center throne pipe and the floor. The tripod leg stabilizer bar has been lengthened, and the double-braced tripod legs are designed to maintain their thickness all the way down to the rubber feet, providing an even more stable foundation. The 1st Chair Height Adjustment system combines the precision of a threaded rod with the convenience of a T-bolt system, allowing for quick and easy height adjustments between 20.25 and 26.37 inches. This feature makes the throne suitable for drummers of various heights, ensuring that each individual can find their optimal playing position. For added stability, the oversized rubber feet are 1.5 times larger than standard TAMA rubber feet. This design choice significantly improves the throne's grip and stability on any surface.Tama's Rocklok feature includes a specially designed Nylon Bushing at the bottom of the throne's threaded rod, which prevents any unwanted side-to-side motion within the base. This innovation contributes to the throne's exceptional durability and stability. Finally, the Foot Life system addresses the issue of wear and tear on the rubber feet. With an innovative plastic leg attachment, Foot Life significantly extends the life of the feet by eliminating metal-to-metal contact, ensuring that your throne remains in top condition for longer. The HT830B 1st Chair Round Rider XL Trio Spin Up Base Drum Throne is not just a seat; it's a professional-grade foundation for any drummer looking to enhance their playing experience with a high-quality, comfortable, and versatile throne.
