The Tascam Portacapture X6 High Resolution Multi-Track Handheld Recorder is a portable digital PCM audio recorder designed for multitrack recording, podcasting, and music production. It supports 32-bit float recording at up to 96 kHz, allowing capture of a wide dynamic range for vocals, instruments, interviews, lectures, and field audio. The handheld recorder features adjustable built-in stereo microphones and dual XLR mic/line inputs with selectable phantom power for use with external microphones. With support for up to six tracks, it can record multiple audio sources simultaneously for flexible editing and mixing. A 2.4-inch color touchscreen with app-style navigation provides access to recording modes such as Manual, Podcast, Music, Voice, Field, and ASMR.
