Awesome tv. Comes preloaded with all my favorite apps. Easy set up. Picture HD quality. Sound can be improved easily with sound bar. Really can’t say enough good things about our new TCL tv. We have always purchased Samsung before, however now after trying TCL ROKU tv I don’t think we will purchase Samsung again. The prices for TCL TVs are low compare to their value.

I bought this TV a while ago, and I still can’t believe how affordable it was! I searched everywhere before buying, and honestly, I couldn’t find anything close to this price with the same features and quality. The picture is super clear, the sound is great, and setup was really easy. Even though it was cheap, it doesn’t feel cheap at all — it looks sleek and works perfectly. I’ve been using it regularly, and it still runs just like new. Definitely one of the best deals I’ve ever found at Best Buy. Highly recommend it to anyone on a budget!

Looking for a monitor for my grandson and his PS4 to replace a small desk monitor. The Wichita Falls Best Buy associate was super helpful and reassured me that this would dual purpose as both a TV and gaming monitor. The great news - as a new LED Smart model, there is no need for a firestick to access cable shows. Super easy, plug-in and watch set up. Perfect size, set-up and price!

Great picture & sound quality for the price. Easy to set up! Loved that it is compatible with my Google phone so my pictures played as the screensaver while the TV was paused- such a fun feature!

TLDR: OK cheap TV I’ve made peace with this TV after a month or so but it wasn’t an easy trip. You get a quick start guide but there no multi page user manual and your left with more questions than answers. I set it up on Thanksgiving so there was no one answering the TCL helpline. The first obstacle was the non-optional acceptance of the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. You hit this screen early on and there is no back button nor option to do anything but Accept (under duress). You kids are probably used to giving up everything but your first born (and TCL leaves the option open to make any and all changes so that might be included at some point) but Geez. Actually read it and you’ll see any legal problems must be solved in Chinese courts (really!). Anyway, if I wanted to actually use my new TV I had no choice but to accept it but every time I make a selection I know it’s being recorded somewhere. I was keeping a list of questions for TCL support but being a guy, I never got around to calling them when they were available. Attempting to use TCL’s website for assistance left me looking at solutions that were not for my TV. After a few weeks of futzing with it I managed to stumble across a lot of solutions, sometimes on purpose, sometimes accidentally. The remote is ridiculously simple which is good and bad. A bunch of options are hidden a few menus down but are there nonetheless. But my wife still hands me the remote if she wants to do anything more than a channel or volume change. So after a few weeks I’m not sorry I bought it with the exception of Big Brother TCL watching my every move. We don’t use the Smart TV Google features so I can’t speak to that. The TV reception and picture is good, and although the side view is worse than any other TV or monitor we own, it’s still not onerous. The built in speakers are less than optimal although onboard adjustments can make them better (if you can you find them ;-) We use external wall and ceiling speakers so it’s not a problem in our room. The TV has 10gb of onboard storage so I can’t understand why the channel guide constantly shows “No Information” and needs to load from apparently nothing on every power up. This TV was appealing because it was one 40” TV that would fit in our wall recess and TCL had gotten some decent review chatter and the ridiculously low price made it a small risk. Now that it’s mounted and we’ve lived with it and learned more of its features it’s been a good investment.

I needed a lightweight TV for my son's bedroom (drywall mount). I got that and much more: it has a fast operational system, excellent quality sound, the image is vivid, and the remote is intuitive.

My first time experience purchase of the brand name television was quite surprising that a no name brand would have such a quality picture and numerous features. Furthermore, the service I received in the store from the associate and the way Best Buy orchestrated the whole delivery tracking process was exceptional great! I am looking forward to purchasing my next TCL or Highsense 65 inch television.

Service matters. Size matters. My wife and i have a theatre room in the lower level, but our great room has a built-in cabinet and we hoped to maximize the shelf width, length, and depth. Our sales assistance became service assistance and quickly understood our objective, shared our options, and made the process complete recommending a sound bar. Our experience, pure joy.

I purchased a 40" TCL TV to replace an older model that I had, which was not a Smart TV. I now enjoy all the Google TV services, streaming and other smart TV applications that I couldn't enjoy before. It has a clear picture good sound, provided by Dolby speakers and it was a breeze to put together. I can't believe I did it all by myself. Thank you TCL, for getting me a new way to enjoy my television and Internet enjoyment for my Art Studio room of my home. I even watch You Tube Art Videos now.

Quality picture. Easy to set up. Fits perfectly into the TV cabinet which was the primary reason for buying a 40 inch. Pleased with this purchase.

I bought this TV to replace the Vizio(junk) I had. The Wi-Fi works great, very nice picture and the apps are super easy to access. The only downside is the sound(maybe it’s me) so I did purchase a soundbar.

I bought this TV as an early birthday present for my fiancé. It was so worth it! The graphics and picture quality are amazing. It is bigger in person than in the picture, and it is even better. I highly recommend it.

We wanted a bedroom TV to fit in a cubby. This one does well. Picture and sound are good enough for use just before bed or while sick. Price was the key component here.

Its a smart TV for dumb TV money. I would recommend to friebds for a great bedroom/dorm/ or for a TV cabinet that used to house a 32" or 36" CRT...tbis 40" is a perfect size. I needed a apecific set of measurements and this TV replaced my Insignia 40" open box which in no way could compete with this unit. It is a little hard to get used to. But once it is ready you are too. A+++ for a new brand.
