Purchased this soundbar a week after buying a TCL 50" TV. Being a technically challenged 74 year old, the set up was relatively simple. And the sound, amazing compared to what I had before, theater like. Plus bluetooth, I play my iTunes through it. Really enjoy it, worth its value to me, but we old people impress easily. Quite happy with it!

Good sound bar for the price. Sound quality is pretty okay. Gets loud enough for a large area and the Bluetooth conductivity is nice for playing music from your phone.

The sound is incredible, and it has great settings/personalization features, but the setup was a bit of a challenge. At first it seemed really quick and easy, but the soundbar kept disconnecting from the TV and glitching in other ways, so it took a bit of time to troubleshoot online to get it properly connected; after that it's been working great so far.

I have this soundbar set up with a 42inch TCL 5 series in an 80sf room and it fills the room. Understanding it is a 2.1 channel budget soundbar with a 5.5” subwoofer I dont expect wall shaking bass and also expect channels to be shared among high, low and midrange. I do get the cinematic experience that I want for a great price and it isn’t so loud that it bothers my wife. Well it actually gets really loud and so I keep it on night mode. I’m not giving it 5 stars because the dialogue isn’t the clearest sometimes (dependng on the movie) because there’s no dedicated channel. BUT again, set your expectations appropriately. I’d buy this again. Oh and the virtual surround and AI sonic work great in my small room. I also enjoy listening ambient, jazz and lofi music on it.

Hard to complain about the performance for the price. Had a couple of initial issues with syncing the subwoofer (and it staying synced) but its been two weeks now and seems to be solid. Audio quality is good but given the size of my room I probably would benefit from something with more range in the soundbar itself. It seems to rely heavily on the subwoofer for most lower range output. Knocking off a star because the included mounting brackets don't seem to tighten adequately without stripping, so the bar droops a little on the wall.

I was actually surprised at how well this works. Its not a high end unit, but works very well with our set up. Getting the main bar and subwoofer is super easy! We have a medium sized room, so the sound quality is perfect. Probably would have given this unit 5 stars if it would have come with an additional satellite speaker, but for the price , you really can't go wrong.

Own this soundbar for a couple of weeks and honestly it’s been good. It does have a random buzz noise once in awhile heard it twice not too sure what it could be and I do have it connected through hdmi. The bass is awesome!

Overall this is a great soundbar and easy to install/ set up. My only gripe is the eARC HDMI connection was extremely unstable, it would cut out for 5-10 seconds of audio every 10 minutes or so. I fixed this by connecting it to my TCL tv via optical. This isn’t ideal though, as optical connection apparently renders the CEC function unusable, meaning I can’t use my Roku remote to control the volume when it’s connected via optical, I can only use the TCL soundbar remote. That’s why I can’t give it 5 stars. I’m not sure if the audio issues with eARC is a TCL issue or an eARC issue— I’ve seen a lot online about eARC being unstable by design. But regardless, the result is the same for the consumer so it’s sort of a distinction without difference.

Sounds amazing. The only reason for one star missing is because you need to use the TCL app to update the sound bar software which they don't mention in the manual. The app is very slow and you need to have your phone super close to the soundbar or the update will keep failing.

This sound bar and sub combination is very good for the money spent. The bass could be a little better especially since there is a dedicated sub, however it still gets the job done and is miles better than TV audio. If youre looking for something decent that wont break the bank i think youll find it to your liking!

Works fine. Decent sound although the mids are a little bright and harsh for me at times. Compared this to a similarly priced unit from Amazon and this soundbar was far better sounding.

I love watching movies and the sound quality of the soundbar is amazing. Not the best when I’m the only one watching though. Even on low settings it’s pretty loud and I often get asked if I could turn it down by my wife that’s on the other side of the house. The app is a big let down. Looses connectivity to the sound bar and says it can’t be found.

Easy to set up. At first the base would disconnect every so often and i would have to unplug the power cord and plug it in after a few minutes which would help. it sounds pretty good. The base isnt overwhelming, but for 2.1 channels system its good. The sound bar itself sound great to. I have a TCL tv so soundbar can be controlled by the tv remote which is great.
