Does a lot of things and the resolution is high, but it can freeze sometimes when trying to exit certain programs. The colors also add a nice touch and the calculator is easy to use. It also came scratched while in the original package. I'm not sure how it got scratched but it made it seem lower in quality. Does not seem like a durable calculator because of its thinness so the price seems kind of high.

Ok so the calculator itself is great for what it's designed to do. The Python integration is neat, though pretty cumbersome on the unit. It's not meant for massive coding. Write code on a PC and transfer it. The color display is quite a nice upgrade from earlier monotone models. The main problem i have is that the hardware components are extremely old at this point and those parts have lowered in cost significantly since it's debut. But the customer price remains high. Now, throw in that it's using a long dead usb-b mini connector, with ti not even bothering to update that too the last generation micro style let alone usb type c. Can't even easily find the first generation mini type b anymore. At this point it should be sold only with usb type c if they are going to be over charging students. Thing is too that there are graphing calculator apps that will run on $40 phone hardware. But those aren't allowed on exams. So they take extreme advantage in over pricing. The menu flow has always been a bit convoluted. And I'm not sure why there isn't an equal character in the main alpha keys for programming.

Did NOT work right out of the package. Had to contact TI support and get a new battery sent out. Been working for a week since, hopefully it keeps working. High price for ancient tech. Stupid to use a calculator in school when nobody in the work force uses these.

Works great for ACT & PSAT. This is our 3rd purchase. One for each child.

This calculator is good at its job. Though it is way overpriced. But texas has been selling these calculator at the same price for over 10 years. But most schools require them. It is a never ending cycle

Nice calculator. Will probably last for years. I gave it 3 stars because it probably costs them $10 to make the thing, and it's still $150 because it's usually the required calculator for grades 8 and up. They know we have to buy it. It should have been reduced in price years ago.

Received completely dead, charge took about 3 hours. This was the 2nd one. First one was also completely dead, and wouldn't charge at all.

My son lost the charger and its been very very hard to find a charger that will charge the graphing calculator. I wish it still had the replaceable batteries instead of the rechargeable one!!!!!! I still haven't found a charger that will charge it.

We received the calculator. It won’t boot up. We are returning it.

Hi, It arrived a little late but it’s fine. I’m satisfied.

When we attempted to start it up, we got nothing. On the charger, it had a loading screen that would keep flashing. Apparently, it's a known possible problem with this model. Waiting to hear back from TI about a battery replacement.

Good for high school, sat, and college. WOrks fine after 2 years.

TI is a good calculator but WAYYY over priced. For the limited use it has I shouldn’t need to pay so much.

It’s cheep of TI not to include more memory and more storage on these devices in 2024. At this price point it should have at least a half gig of ram and 8gb storage.

The battery failed a few days after getting it, and the device was in a reboot loop. Fortunately, Best Buy exchanged it, so my child had a calculator for school that day.

Purchased for school lots to do on this calculator but required could have been cheaper
