I love this calculator! I noticed that when I took it out of the box, the screen behind the screen is a little bit pushed in on one side. You can see it in the picture where the white is showing, but too much hassle to exchange. It functions perfectly tho! I use it for college

Ive bought a TI 84+CE and I enjoy using it for a daily basis. The calculator is easy to use and great for students. Though my only problem is the price, The TI84+CE is pricy and has great quality but the things it can achieve does not match its price point.

Many colors Kids are able to take into the various exams with no difficulties from examining body.

Little pricy but good use for SAT. Gave the grade and very happy I did investment on this. Students must have this.

Nice colored wider screen. You just really have to study this machine before you can use it.

Clear screen but it easy to scratch due to the glossy finish. Perfect for precalc and calc. Nice and slim and love the rechargeable aspect but i just wish it used a readily available micro usb rather than an old mini usb charger. My only complaint is that its prone to scratches all over including the screen. Mine had a slight scratch next to each physical button upon opening the original packing. I suspect that each key is tested and the person who tested it, marked each key with a scratch. Kinda annoying but it works great.

Didn't get it because I was dying to have a new shiny calculator. Kid had to have it for school. She likes that it's not the boring grey one that you usually find. She was also excited that some of the imaginary number formulas are already programmed in there.

Texas Instruments has finally done something that they should have done a long time ago: make a smaller form factor calculator. It shouldn't be that hard to make a slimmer graphing calculator, especially with the given state of technology. The lighter weight is nice to carry around in a backpack, though it is a little bit of a concern that one will walk in to take a test and there will be a low battery notification due to the colored screen. My biggest concern, however, is the high price. This isn't a problem I have with this graphing calculator, but with all graphing calculators: they're too expensive. Yes, what they do, calculating more advanced mathematics, is so much easier with all of the physical buttons over using a computer or a phone, but it is just too expensive for the very limited function set that it has.

My child uses it and is happy with the performance. I find the keypads confusing, but I don't need it for school. lol

Still trying to learn how to use it. This calculator changed since I had one in middle school.

My son used this for his college engineering class. The first one we got had to be exchanged because of a software glitch.

I bought this calculator for school. I haven't had the time to learn all of the features, but from what I have had to use it, it has been great. Wish I had the time to learn it a little more in depth.

It does maths perfectly. Graphs hard equations “X’s and Y’s” etc. really a great product. Only issue I had was the USB cable to charge it didn’t work. Just grabbed another one I had lying around and used that. Everything else is awesome.

Great graphing calculator. Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Minus 1 star on a couple of things. I prefer if this had a USB-C charging port. Also if it had a microSD card and a speaker. That would be great if it could play sounds.

This thing really counts when you need it! I dont know how many of these I've purchased over the years for me, my wife and now my kids. This however, is my favorite one. Why, because with all the inflation of today this was the least I've paid for one. Thank you TI

I am a adult returning to college for the second time. I previously owned a Casio graphing calculator but I decided to purchase the TI because it is the most used by the education system. This calculator is a great help to me. I love the back-lit screen and the color graphing. I'm sure that this calculator will carry me through out the remainder of my college years. The only downside to this calculator is that you have to go through extra steps to perform some of the same functions that the Casio can do with the push of one button but once you get used to the TI it not a big deal.

This is an expensive piece of necessary equipment in more advanced mathematics. We are hoping the color display adds to the utility and isn’t just a gimmick. We like that the battery is rechargeable as it should hopefully save batteries from the trash heap and help reduce environmental pollution. It does look like these newer models are more locked down software-wise which we don’t think we like since it limits opportunities for learning and experimenting.
