The Beast of the City - BLU-RAY

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer took a page from Warner Bros.' playbook with this gritty, pre-code, gangster classic which provided a major step in the career of it's leading lady, Jean Harlow. Walter Huston leads the cast as a respected police captain who leads the fight against a vicious gangland chief. Adapted from a story by W.R. Burnett, whose Little Caesar broke new ground for the genre a year before, THE BEAST OF THE CITY is a gripping and exciting tale, now remastered and restored for it's Blu-ray debut.
