The Exiles - BLU-RAY

The real-life experiences of a group of Native Americans who left their Southwest reservation homes to live in L.A.'s since-demolished Bunker Hill neighborhood are re-created in filmmaker Kent Mackenzie's innovative indie docudrama. The non-professional cast is followed over the course of one night dancing, carousing, fighting, and pondering their place in an unfamiliar urban culture.
