The initial visuals were unique, but became burdensome as the movie progressed. The plot had a few twists but became too predictable.

Good acting by the female actresses impressive loved it.

This was beautiful to look at, but the story was pretty bizarre. Some of it was comical, a lot of it was crude. I think it was accurate for the times. A lot of debaucheries going on though.

I wasn't sure what to expect but was drawn in to this bizarre and well acted performance within a few minutes. Watching women have power battles is fun but this was over the top. Scenery was amazing but the acting was phenomenal.

I liked the movie (still not sure why, though) and have recommended it to many people, but with reservations, because it is truly not for everyone.

Not only did I want to watch it because it was nominated for an Oscar but also the actresses that starred in it. It was a funny movie.

Costuming is good, acting is good, story line leaves a bit to be desired.

The Favorite was superbly acted, the costumes are outstanding, and the richness of the surroundings are out of this world!
