The Frantics, a killer Instro combo from Seattle, were one of the most popular groups in the U.S. North-West in the late 1950s/early 60s. Their records were huge local hits and three of 'em tickled the lower reaches of the U.S. Top 100. Their most well-known 45, 'Werewolf', has appeared on countless compilations over the decades and was famously adapted by The Cramps in 1980. This compilation reissues everything that they recorded for the Dolton tag in 1959 & 1960, plus a Fleetwoods' B-side on which they were accorded a rare tag credit as the backing band. Also included are three 45s they later cut for another local tag, Seafair Bolo. This is the first time this body of work has been compiled together on one , and several of these sides are almost impossible to find elsewhere on CD. Album Tracks 1. Straight Flush 2. Young Blues 3.
