The Great Moment - BLU-RAY

Always troubled by his patients' suffering, 19th-century Boston dentist William T.G. Morton (Joel McCrea) started questing for an answer... and he became one of the first popularizers of ether as a surgical anesthetic. Writer-director Preston Sturges' bid at a more straight-faced historical drama (until the studio wrested control of the film, and accentuated the humor) also stars Betty Field, Harry Carey, William Demarest, Porter Hall. 81 min. Standard; Soundtrack English DTS Lossless stereo; Subtitles English; featurette; theatrical trailer; more.
