Yes, this is that 2 hour Google advert, with the director of the Night at the Museum trilogy and starring the Wedding Crashers.... Not truly the best sign of things. I love Google, I like most of Shawn Levy's films though he doesn't blow me away with his efforts but does good work, and the Wedding Crashers is probably one of the most overrated comedies of the last ten years or so. I wasn't looking forward to it, and to my surprise it isn't that bad of a film. The best part of Wedding Crashers was the chemistry between Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn and it still holds strong here, but the screenplay needed a bit of work. Its the usual underdog film where they are salesmen who lose their job, only to get internships at Google though they know nothing about technology. So of course, they are set up with a ragtag bunch of computer geeks who must take on their stronger, better, smarter rivals and win jobs. Predictable to a fault, with a shoehorned love story and the accustomed growing mutual respect between the team and you have every other film ever made about underdogs. Still, it made me laugh, and was well acted with some solid direction, but it does drag in the middle and could have been trimmed to a solid 90 minutes or so instead of the 110 minute mark, but its still a good watch, just not a full price movie. The DVD PQ & AQ is of course strong, with a good stable and sharp picture (Digitally shot, style of choice Levy since Date Night) and the standard comedy soundtrack that has dialogue loud and clear and distortion free. Only the Blu Ray could be better. The extras are a let down, at least on the DVD but whats included is good. The main extra is the commentary by Levy, and as usually, is a very chatty commentator, who talks about how he got the gig, film locations, etc, things like that. A good listen for those who enjoy commentaries. The other major extra is the unrated cut, that includes a few scenes that could have worked in the film had it went for an R-rating, which it should have. Other than that, nothing else of note and must buy the Blu Ray to access the rest of the extras (A featurette and some deleted scenes and a few other odds and ends) and is at least worth a rental.

I'm not sure why viewers go to this sort of film expecting total reality and believability, but of course with a plot such as this one, things aren't exactly real world anyway and for heaven's sake people, this is a comedy. I won't go into a rehash of the story as others have done that in previous reviews. I'll just say that I came out of the film happy to have seen it, I got quite a lot of good laughs all the way through, and my final impression was what a basically sweet story it was with sweet and likeable characters. Only a scene in a lap dancing bar made it a bit inappropriate for younger teens, but otherwise, it is a good story imparting some valuable life lessons for young people who think people over 30 know nothing. The two main characters were actually quite nice and lovable guys with refreshingly positive attitudes about life and how to treat other people, and ultimately they came out on top preceisely because of these traits. The film was completely enjoyable beginning to end, and time went fast as the pacing was excellent. Vaughn as writer & screenwriter did a great job with this, so kudos to him. Too bad the trailers are lousy and somewhat misrepresent the nature of this film.

These two should always play these typecast characters together in their funny films. Where one lacks the other picks up so its never a waste of time. The interpretive look into Google was as I imagined with tongue in cheek. Worth adding to your collection to pop in and watch anytime and is suitable in any company.

The story was good in this movie. It is yet another movie I didn't seen in theaters because it looked uninteresting. I really enjoyed watching it, even though I'm not a big fan of Vince Vaughn. Owen Wilson was a lovable character. Unrated version of this movie has topless scenes, not a good one for youngsters to watch.

I bought this on sale wit low expectations. However,I found it to be a decent no-brainier sort of comedy. The plot is a bit thin, but the cast works well together. The humor isn't always the most original, but it is well executed. If you are looking for some mindless fun on a dull Saturday night, this movie fills the bill.

I like the actors. The plot was creative, but some of the humor was similar to weddings crashers because of the cast. The way they made working at google seem was interesting. The movie could have went into more character development. I would have given it a better rating if the movie wasn't so PG.

I was not so sure what to expect going into this movie, I was a little pessimistic about the story line. Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson make the movie. They seem to be having fun in the roles and there is enough of a plot to make the entire movie enjoyable. Great laughs throughout.

After learning that their sales jobs are going bye bye they decide to apply for an internship with Google. Funny concept as neither star have experience with internet but unlikely as they are they are able to get the internship using sales and positive attitude skills.

Mainly bought this movie to take a look into the Google life. That was interesting in itself. The movie, for the most part, was entertaining. There was some down time throughout, but it was enjoying to watch, especially if you're a fan of Vaughn or Wilson.

Im not usually into comedies, especially ones that include Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson but I had to try it. Its not one I'd watch all the time but to have as background noise its nice. Occasionally funny. Interesting plot.

I purchased The Internship "Unrated" DVD at my local Best Buy store in Gainesville, Florida at a great sale price of $3.99. The movie proved to be full of laughs typical of the Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson duo. I am very pleased with my purchase and the sale price made it a great entertainment value. I highly recommend!

A spoof on two losers who become interns at Google after they fail at a sales job. Somewhat unrealistic but, believable humorous look at this situation that has you rooting for the losers. We loved it but, we love Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn as a team.

Thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Purchased it just because Owen Wilson is a favorite of mine, but enjoyed the whole storyline of the movie, perhaps because I can identify with the non-tech savvy heroes. Entertaining!

Gift for my son. This was a replacement for the original DVD purchased for Christmas that wouldn't play (saw only pixelated squares). They reordered it for me at my local store & it arrived within the week. This one works good.

Great movie to watch with college friends! It made us laugh, tear up and a little jealous of the people working at google. One of the best movies to watch with friends - we are so applying to google after watching it!!!

Anyone familiar with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson movies already knows that these two know how to make a funny movie. What makes this one different than other movies is that amongst all of the puns, crude humor and other funny happenings we learn that they can slip in a few life lessons and still not lose anything.

Any movie with Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn is worth checking out in my opinion! Like I said, it's no Wedding Crashers, but it still has its moments. The price was right on the DVD, so the decision was easy!

I found this movie on sale and glad I bought it. It was good for that fill in the empty time on a rainy afternoon. Was humorous and entertaining but felt like it could have been geared for the early 20yr old crowd.

Of course it's Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson. They've done it again! So many great laughs. Two guys that shouldn't have made the cut to be interns so there's many mishaps and humor based on their ignorance of modern technology. Plus they've came up with an idea to save lives. What?!?! It's also kinda inspiring

I enjoyed watching both of these guys in "Wedding Crashers", so it was great to see them together again in this movie! Sure, it's one of those movies that you can predict the outcome, but it's funny nonetheless!
