The Mark of the Hawk - DVD

Eartha Kitt and Sidney Poitier star in this tale of a man named Obam (Poitier) and his struggles in British occupied Africa. As tension divides the country, Obam seeks racial harmony through peace. He enlists the help of his wise wife (Kitt) and a sympathetic missionary (John McIntire), but his fight to make a difference in an atmosphere of African nationalism is tougher than he thinks. Can he make changes to what appears to be a doomed situation?
