About this product

This album marks The Mekons' last overt country/cowpunk record, as they slowly shifted into more guitar oriented rock. Inch... The Mekon's ensemble approach is magical and their unique sound, neither country nor punk, but with deep roots in both, seems to rise directly out of the dust of the earth. A great band at their best - Alternative PressInch
