About this product

In early-'50s Japan, war veteran and writer Toshio (Ittoku Kishibe) came clean to his wife Miho (Keiko Matsuzaka) regarding her suspicions about his ongoing affair with a neighbor woman. Despite his sincere promises of future fidelity, the betrayal was too much for the fragile spouse to bear-and their continued relationship might brink both to a breaking point. Director Kôhei Oguri's sobering take on the Toshio Shimao novel also stars Midori Kiuchi. 115 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack Japanese; Subtitles English; featurettes; theatrical trailer. In Japanese with English subtitles.
