Disco music's most soulful vocal group, began in 1960s Philadelphia as The Volcanos and were also called The Moods, before ultimately emerging as The Trammps in 1972 with a string of successful releases throughout the 1970s, the pinnacle of which was InchDisco Inferno,Inch the hottest song on the international disco scene in 1977, included in the soundtrack for the widely popular movie InchSaturday Night Fever,Inch the industry's biggest selling album to date and won them a Grammy Award in 1979. Sometime in the early 2000s, The Trammps recorded a Hi NRG cover version of the Philadelphia soul disco vocal quartet Double Exposure's 1976 hit InchTen PercentInch - which was very well received in Europe and became an underground dance club hit.
