Is wifi control really necessary for a stove? Have had trouble getting oven to work without using a phone app to get it started. The piece itself once you can get it working properly is great and of good quality. Everything we wanted and why we decided to go with Thermador.

DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND. This brand has a major design flaw. The unit isnt water proof. So any water that leaks onto the stove, has the potential to short curcuit the motherboard and brick the entire oven. Thermador will blame you if this happens. Expect repair costs between 2 - 4 thousand. This has happened twice to our unit so far.

We’ve had this range for a few months now and it really is quite good. It replaced an older stove that we loved but that finally went kaput. The Thermador burners are excellent and each oven cooks evenly. The small oven, though, is a bit smaller than expected so we tend to use the large one more frequently.

I bought this on 1 Sept, it was delivered and installed around 30 Sept, and it was broken by 27 October. Oven stopped working along with the two burners that have "Low Simmer" (the other 4 burners has power and gas). This happened to my prior Thermador about 3 times as well - granted that one was about 10 years old BUT is the reason I had to purchase a new one. This is proving to be unreliable.

Do not but this range! Replaced the motherboard 2 times within 12 months and numerous other parts. Left me stranded on Thanksgivng…just stopped working AGAIN!! Thank God for great neighbors who let me borrow their range to finish cooking. This should not happen on a brand new range and the customer service is even worse than the products they make.

Bought this stove last year DEC 2021, our oven broke 2 days before Thanksgiving( NOV 2022). We called Thermador customer service, and had to wait for ONE HOUR to speak with customer service, only to be told they can't send anyone to our house till DEC 16. Oh you will be without an oven NOT THEIR PROBLEM. They have their money for their USELESS OVEN!!! They are like we can send you a list of authorized dealers but then, they don't have a way of diagnosing the error message without coming onsite so it might be longer. I am like well maybe you can share your info with them to speed up the process to help your CUSTOMERS!!! BUT of course they can't share that info with the authorized dealers. SIGH!! They are basically trying to be a luxury brand without the quality or the service. Save your money and buy another brand. Good luck with your search.

We ordered a full package of major thermador appliances in March 2022. While we have recieved the range, we don’t have the knobs and the hood, so cant properly use the range. And no estimate on when we will recieve the remaining parts, if ever. There is no way of getting in touch with Thermador. And Best Buy reps are not motivated to help once the sale is closed. Extremely frustrating. Dont belive a word of what they say on delivery estimates. Bottom line - Stay away from Best Buy Santana Row Appliance dept.

Worst range ever. No timer, no temperature indicator, uneven cooking. Left side takes 20 minutes to heat up. Food burns on edges, raw in center. horrific.
