Answered by TempProYes, you can leave the probe in the chicken while its on the BBQ. The sensor in the probe is located within the first 2 inches of the probe so the rest of the probe will not affect the reading.
Does it have a WiFi or Bluetooth connectivity so that I can see the temperature or get a warning message to my iPhone?
