Q: Can I plug the unit into an external power bank and power it instead of the cigarette lighter?
A: Hi Ralph, If you do not want to power the dash cam via the cigarette lighter, you may also hardwire the dash cam to your vehicle's fuse box with our additional accessory, the hardwiring cable (TW-SH). The latter option also enables parking mode surveillance while your vehicle is turned off. Q: Is hard-wiring cable included? What length?
A: It only has a cigarette lighter plug cable with it. It's about 4 feet long and you cannot hide the wire by routing around the windshield to the cigarette lighter plug
Q: Is there a time and date stamp on the video?
A: Yes there is a date and time stamp. I attached a photograph of my camera so you can see it
A: I'm using Samsung 64GB, but I didn't notice how many hours of recording I can get before it overwritten. I would say I can record up to 6 hours, that is my estimation for the 64GB.

Q: I want to record inside my car, can this cam do that?
A: Hi Bill, While this dash cam can be mounted to record the interior, it was designed to be record the roads! The video quality may differ. If you would like a inside facing camera, we recommend getting a two-channel dash cam and an interior infrared camera accessory.
