The Thrustmaster Sol-R2 Hosas Dual Flight Joysticks system is built for PC space simulation pilots who want full, two-handed command over every ship function. Two ambidextrous grips paired with two throttle bases combine for 88 total action buttons, giving HOSAS pilots comprehensive control across combat, navigation, and ship management without needing to reach for a keyboard. Each flight stick includes 21 dedicated controls, including triggers, hat switches, a ministick, and a thumbwheel, spreading essential functions across both hands so complex maneuvers and system commands stay within easy reach. Precision comes from H.E.A.R.T. HallEffect AccuRate Technology, which delivers 16 bit precision across all axes with zero drift and zero deadzone, ensuring reliable, long term accuracy even after extended use. Comfort is addressed through an ambidextrous ergonomic design, with interchangeable wrist and thumb rests that adapt to your grip, while stability supports anchor each base firmly to your desk so intense sessions do not shift your setup out of position. A backlit design inspired by science fiction gives the Sol-R2 a distinctive look on your desk, and because it is built to work within the broader Thrustmaster ecosystem, this HOSAS system is compatible with PC and can expand over time as you add further compatible hardware. Together, the high button count, per-stick control density, and hall effect precision make this a setup suited to pilots who want granular control over demanding space simulation titles, while the ergonomic adjustments and desk-anchoring supports mean that level of control does not come at the expense of comfort during long play sessions. For simmers building out a dedicated HOSAS station, the Sol-R2 offers a combination of button real estate, sensor accuracy, and physical stability designed to keep pace with increasingly complex space sim control schemes, all while maintaining a sci-fi inspired aesthetic that fits a modern gaming setup.
