Tiffen - 4x4" Warm Soft/FX 1 Filter

Take your photography to the next level with the Tiffen 4x4" Warm Soft/FX 1 Filter. This high-quality filter is expertly designed to diffuse intense light entering your camera lens, creating a captivating, soft glow effect on your images. Despite the ethereal softness, the filter ensures minimal loss of clarity or detail, making it an ideal choice for photographers seeking to balance artistic flair with professional precision. The Tiffen Warm Soft/FX 1 Filter operates by introducing small aberrations to the incoming light, distributing it more evenly across the image. This results in a gentle, soft-focus glow, rather than the sharp, well-defined image typically produced when shooting without a filter. The 1 density of this filter offers a greater degree of softening than the 1/2 density, yet less than the 2, providing a versatile tool for photographers to manipulate the mood and feel of their shots. In addition to its diffusion capabilities, this 4x4" filter incorporates an 812 warming filter. This feature adds a general warmth to your images, significantly enhancing skin tones and reducing blue sensitivity. It's particularly effective for cutting through overly cool tones within a scene, making it a valuable asset for portrait and landscape photography alike.Crafted using Tiffen's innovative ColorCore technology, the Warm Soft/FX 1 Filter is constructed by laminating the filter substrate between two pieces of optical glass. This is then ground flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, ensuring a high level of precision and consistency. Measuring 4 x 4" or 101.6 x 101.6mm, this rectangular filter is a compact and essential addition to any photography kit. With the Tiffen 4x4" Warm Soft/FX 1 Filter, you can add a unique, warm soft-focus effect to your photographs, elevating your work and setting it apart in a crowded field.
