Tiffen - 52mm 85B Daylight to Tungsten Conversion Glass Filter

Because lighting conditions can greatly affect the quality and color of your images, the 52mm 85B Daylight to Tungsten Conversion Glass Filter is a crucial tool for photographers and videographers. This filter is specifically designed to adjust for the significant variations in color characteristics that are inherent in different light sources, such as sunlight, daylight, incandescent, fluorescent, and other artificial lights. The 52mm 85B filter is particularly useful when using tungsten film in daylight conditions. Without a filter, this combination can result in a bluish cast on your images. However, the 85B filter corrects this issue, producing natural, true-to-life colors when shooting outdoors with tungsten film. This filter is part of the 85 Series, which is designed to correct differences in color temperature between the recording medium and the light source. Each filter in the series offers unique benefits. While the 85 filter produces slightly cooler results than the 85B, the 85C filter can be used for creative warming effects with daylight film in daylight. In essence, the 52mm 85B Daylight to Tungsten Conversion Glass Filter is a versatile tool that helps you achieve the best possible color balance and image quality, regardless of your lighting conditions. For optimal results, it's recommended to use the filter that most accurately matches your film type.
